CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

12:30 AM
"Wakasa! Takeomi! Benkei!" You sprinted to them with Mikey, Emma, Mrs. Sano and Grandpa Sano right behind you.

"Are you guys okay?! You're covered in bruises!" You asked with concern.

"We're perfectly fine (Y/n)." Benkei assured you but then gazed at the ground. "Except Shinichiro..."

"Shin? Where is he?" You asked but none of them responded. "Benkei... Where is Shinichiro..?"

A few seconds went by in silence and the three of them finally stood up from their seats.

They didn't say a single word to any of you but instead walked to the nearest hospital room while you just followed behind.

When you entered the room, your eyes widened by the scene in front of you.

There on the hospital bed was Shinichiro. His body was covered in bruises and scars and wrapped in bandages.

"Shin-nii..." Emma started to sniffle as tears formed under her eyes. Mikey held her hand, trying to comfort her as she began to cry.

Now sitting on a chair next to Shinichiro's bed, gazing at his sleeping body.

The others had already left, leaving you with him and his 3 friends.

"Do you know what happened to him?" You asked, turning to them.

Takeomi and Benkei shook their heads.

"We were already knocked out unconscious... We only woke up here at the hospital-"

"I know what happened."

A voice suddenly interrupted. It was Wakasa.

Everyone turned their heads to him as he began to explain.

Behind the Abandoned Hospital
Glass shattered to the ground as drops of rain started to fall down from the dark sky.

Wakasa watched in shock as blood dripped down from his dear friend's head.

"Shinichiro..." He muttered as his eyes widened.

Shinichiro shield him from getting hit.

"You didn't get hit by the any of the glass did you, Wakasa?" Shinichiro asked with a regular expression, ignoring the sharp pain from the glass that hit his head.

Wakasa had also noticed that the two men that were holding him weren't there anymore, instead they were laying on the ground unconscious.

"So you still got some strength left huh?" Saiko asked.

"I just needed a small break, that's all" Shinichiro said with a smirk as blood streamed down from the right side of his face. Looking over his shoulder, he gave Wakasa a genuine smile. "Stay back okay Wakasa?"

He turned back to Saiko and cracked his fingers, preparing himself.

A smug look formed onto Saiko's face as he felt the excitement rush up his body.

"I guess I might've underestimated you, Sano Shinichiro"

Present
"The enemies that were still standing kept coming in and Shinichiro was completely beaten up. He looked like he was gonna pass out any second... I couldn't help him. Even though I wanted to my body just wouldn't let me." Wakasa clenched his fists, just thinking about what happened there made him nervous. "He had to fight all of them alone..."

Soon a fond smile began to form across his face as he calmed down.

"But he did it"

Wakasa blurted out, making the three of you look at him with curious looks.

The vision of Shinichiro standing in the middle of the unconscious bodies surrounding him.

With all his strength left, Shinichiro raised his arm in the air as he panted heavily.

"The black dragon won"

ive been so busy w projects, family problems or wahetevr so i lost alot of motivation to write
