CHAPTER NINETEEN

8:30 AM
Clasping your hands together with your eyes closed, you stayed in that position for a few seconds before putting your hands down and looked up to both of your parents gravestones.

You smiled at them and excused yourself, "I'm gonna go visit Noe now. Goodbye mom, bye dad"

As you were walking to your younger brother's gravestone, footsteps came rushing towards you.

You looked over and smiled as you saw Shinichiro jogging towards you with a bouquet of white and yellow flowers in his hands.

"Sorry it took me a while, I went to go get this" He apologized and handed you the bouquet.

The two of you continued walking and halted in front of another gravestone.

You crouched down and placed the flowers into both vases and stood back up.

You and Shinichiro raised your hands up and clasped them with your eyes closed.

A brief moment of silence engulfed you and you opened your eyes again.

"It's been a while Noe" You smiled softly. "I'm sorry for not visiting you that often"

"I also have someone for you to meet!" You pulled Shinichiro closer by the arm. "This is Shinichiro, he's my boyfriend. He's a nice guy so don't worry about me okay?"

You and Shinichiro then spent the next hour talking to your younger brother and after you were done, he brought you back to his place.

Stepping foot inside the Sano's house, you were immediately greeted by two little kids.

"(Y/n)-san!" Emma yelled as she came running towards you with Mikey next to her.

You crouched down to their level with your arms spread wide open, waiting for a hug and you received a way bigger hug than you expected.

"Where have you been?! We missed you!" Emma exclaimed as she hugged you tightly, not wanting to let go.

You chuckled as you patted both their heads. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left like that"

You returned their hugs and then heard a rumble coming from Mikey's stomach.

You removed yourself from the hug and asked them, "Are you guys hungry?"

They both nodded in a sync without hesitation. "We haven't eaten anything since this morning..." Emma said.

"I can make something for you to eat, would you like that?" You asked and their eyes lit up with sparkles.

"We missed (Y/n)-san's cooking!" Emma exclaimed loudly as her and Mikey got off of you so you could stand up.

They held your hands and started walking you to the kitchen.

Shinichiro was just standing there in the living room with his arms crossed and a fond smile plastered on his face, watching the kids drag you away.

"Shin are you coming?" You asked as you looked over your shoulder.

He flashed a small smile at you then nodded and quickly rushed next to you.
