CHAPTER FIFTEEN

3:25 AM
"(Y/n)-san.. (Y/n)-san!"

A voice shouted out your name in a low tone, awakening you from your sleep.

You opened your eyes and turned around to the voice and saw a figure crouching down next to you.

It was dark and you had just woken up so you couldn't really make out who it was. But soon your eyes adjusted to the darkness and you realized it was Mikey.

"Huh..? Mikey..?" Your eyebrows furrowed as you lifted your upper half up and sat up on the mattress on the floor. "What are you doing here? And why aren't you asleep?" You asked in a quiet tone.

"I couldn't fall asleep... I had a nightmare." He mumbled as he played with his fingers.

"A nightmare?" You raised a brow at him and he just nodded.

You were still very tired but seeing Mikey this way, you just sighed and silently got up from your spot, held Mikey's hand and just left Shinichiro in the bedroom while you two went out.

You brought him outside to the front of the house. There are walls surrounding the area of the Sano's house so it's fine.

The area has a big space at the front with a whole garden next to the walls so you the both of you just walked around.

After a bit of silence, you asked him with curiosity. "So, what happened in your dream?"

Mikey was quiet for a second but then finally told you.

"Well it started of with me waking up from my sleep and answering a phone call from big bro Shin. He called me to go to a random address but when I asked 'why?' he just laughed and told me to go there" He continued, "It was during the night so of course I was confused. I just did as he told me and went to the address but... When I got there, there was a crowd of people, police cars and an ambulance."

You looked down at him with half-lidded eyes as he explained his dream.

But then he tightened his grip on your hand.

"I squeezed into the crowd and saw you... (Y/n)-san." His face began to twitch. "I saw you being pulled on a bed into the back of the ambulance. You weren't moving..."

Your eyes slightly widened when you noticed drops of clear liquid falling to the ground in front of Mikey.

"There were blood coming out of your head and big bro Shin was climbing into the ambulance with you-..." His voice cracked as small sobs were heard from him. "I went to the hospital and looked everywhere for you... When I found Shinichiro, I asked him and he just told me that you were-!"

He cut off his sentence and covered his mouth but you knew what he was gonna say next.

As he stood there sobbing, tears streaming down his cheeks uncontrollably, you bent down and picked him up from the ground.
