Death always makes me think of Lily and my mother, the only two women who ever meant anything to me. They say that bankruptcy killed Ebony. But I know the real truth. It was that filthy man who stole her treasure, and with it her reason to live. Inhale. Exhale. Perhaps I should keep that graveyard barricaded by overgrown thorns and thistles before she comes for me again. And what of Lily? Should I continue mourning her loss when she too left willingly? Inhale. Exhale. It's too late now to make amends. Someone just stepped on the thorns then tore the barbed wire down. The enemy I've been trying to avoid is on the loose; and angry. Thankfully, Pete still has his account open to the public. Well, hip hip hooray! I go through his pictures with fresh eyes and sure enough I step on landmines. What the hell is this bitch doing liking all his pics? A Desiree Mollete. What the hell kind of name is that? Look, Mary. Forget it! That's not the point right now. All that matters is that this loser has liked more than her fair quota of pics. Two pics, maybe. But five? I scroll through the months and find more damning evidence against the mongrel. In total, that gutter rat has liked twenty-five of my man's pics. That's my job, you desperate bitch! He's my man, you unscrupulous thieving whore! Oh, it's on now.
