Kat reclaimed her shadowy form and opened her red eyes, taking even greater precautions now to seal her thoughts from the others. Xaxu looked at her, as if for approval to start the council meeting, and then cast her onyx black eyes upon the other seven. All were colourful sticks of light with human outlines, and all bore onyx black eyes except Qira.
"Witches," she began in a solemn tone. "You all know why we called this meeting, why we visited earth together for the first time since Mother left."
"Yes, Xaxu," they said in unison, all tones sombre, except one.
Xaxu's white mist-like form sailed to the centre of the circle. She waved her arms over the triangle. A blue ball rose from beneath it and rotated before them. Then she turned to her sisters.
"After what we've seen, there's only one question on the table before us at this time," Xaxu said, then paused before her next words. "What shall we do about the humans?"
"That's easy," Fantum's voice thundered, immediately casting her eyes upon earth. "We do what Mother should've done all along. We kill them! We kill them all, and make sure their kind never exists to threaten our existence again!"
