Chapter 47 - Silent Treatment

You all said your goodbyes before Carlos left.

   "I'm gonna miss you," You said as you hugged Carlos.

   "I'll miss you too," Carlos replied. After you let go, your mom and dad hugged him.

   "Stay safe! You're coming back in December, right?" Your mom asked.

   "Mhm," Carlos replied.

   "Stay out of trouble, got it?" Your dad asked, and Carlos nodded.

   "Yeah, I got it," Carlos replied.

After Carlos left, your mom and dad looked at you.

   "Are you gonna stay or are you leaving?" Your dad asked.

   "I'll stay," You replied.

(Next day)

You walked to the Hellfire table with Eddie and sat down next to him.

   "Let me know if we need to leave the room, okay?" Eddie asked, and you nodded.

   "Okay," You replied before taking a bite of your food.

(After school)

You and Eddie walked into your house and were greeted by your mom.

   "Sweetie, you're here! I have a surprise for you!" Your mom said.

   "Oh! What is it?" You asked.

   "Follow me!" Your mom said, before heading to the garage. You and Eddie followed her, and when you got into the garage, you were surprised to see your dad standing next to a black Ferrari 228 GTO.

Your mom handed you a car key, and you gasped.

   "It's supposed to be your graduation gift, but we decided to give it to you early!" Your dad said.

   "Holy shit! Thank you guys so much!" You exclaimed before hugging your mom and dad.

   "If you ruin it, you're not getting a replacement," Your dad said, and you smiled.

   "Don't worry, I won't ruin it," You said, and your mom smiled.

   "Well? Are you gonna go try it out?" Your dad asked, and you nodded before getting in.

   "Come on, Eds!" You said, and Eddie smiled before getting in the passenger seat.

You drove to Family Video and you and Eddie got out of the car. You could see Robin and Steve's surprised faces from inside. You and Eddie went inside and Robin and Steve looked at you in shock.

   "Is that yours?" Steve asked, and you nodded.

   "Early graduation gift," You replied.

   "That's awesome!" Robin said.

   "I know, right?!" You asked excitedly.
   "By the way, I will be coming in for work tomorrow," You said.

   "Finally! I'm tired of covering for you," Steve said, and you giggled.

   "Sorry, Steve. I appreciate it!" You said, and Steve smiled.

(Just gonna skip to after Hellfire on Friday 'cause things are gonna get interesting.)

"Great playing, Mark," You said as you, him, Eddie, and the rest of the Hellfire Club walked out of the building.

"Thanks! You did an amazing job as well!" Mark said, and you smiled.

"Thanks!" You replied.

"See you later!" Mark replied before going to his car.

"Yep!" You replied.
