I helped Lily clean her face up and helped calm her down before we went out back to greet James and Sirius' parents. In my eyes these ard Sirius' parents no mater what his last name is or who he came out of and im not the only one who thinks it
"Hi Mr. And Mrs. Potter. Thank you so mych for having us over," Lily greets them with a smile clearly happy to be away from her sister
"Of please, call us Fleamont and Euphemia and we are happy to have you both here," Euphemia says with a big smile on her face, "James and Sirius speak highly of you both quite often"
"Mum!" James gives her a look making her laugh while Lily raises an eyebrow and looks to him with a small smile
"Are you really surprised?" I ask Lily with a shocked look, "Hes only fancied you since 2nd year. Im sure they know everything about you by now"
"Not everything but close enough," Euphemia says with a bright smile
"Mum!" James whines clearly not liking that his mum is admitted to something we all already know
"I think its sweet you tell your mum everything," Lily finally says as she giggles
"James, why dont you show Lily to her room. Take your time. Wouldnt mind a gandchild with in thd next year or so"
I look at her shocked while Lily was stunned and blushed a bit. Clearly she had no idea what to say. Had it been anyone else she would havd told them off but this was adults. This was James Parents to be clear
"Come on Lily," James says with a sigh, "Dont worry shes joking. She knows shes not getting any grandkids any time soon"
I tense up a bit seeing as his parents die before James and Lily even get married. I hadnt told him that bit. I havent told Lily about our parents either. I guess i just didnt want it coming true. I cant stop everyone's deaths especially if its a natural death
"Sirius, could you go get the tea please?" He nods and heads back inside and suddenly i had a bad feeling "Now that there gone," my eyes widen as Euphemia turns to me with narrowed eyes, "What are your intentions with my son?"
"I-i-im sorry?"
"Sirius, what are your intentions with Sirius? He is a good boy and does not need anyone playing with his feelings"
"I promise you thats not what im doing," i was caught off guard by this, "I care for him deeply. He is an amazing guy and if i could id brag about him to everyone similar to how James brags about Lily"
"If you care about him so much why hide it?" Fleamont looked to his wife like he wanted to stop her but i know the look in her eye. Shes protecting her child, "It took me all summer break for him to tell me about you"
"Two guys being together in a relationship isnt very accepting. It doesnt help im a muggle born whos with a supposed 'blood trader'," i put air quotes around it seeing as people have called Sirius a blood trader more then once, "Its even more dangerous especially in this time. Its.....also hard to.....openly admit to.....being with a guy when your a guy"
She narrows her eyes at me as she looks me over making me want to go run and hide. I could tell she didnt fully believe me or maybe she didnt fully trust me. Joy, Lily gets the loving caring Mum Potter and i get the scary intimidating one
"Ill warn you now. You better not hurt him"
"Yes ma'am"
"Good, im glad we are in agreement," she puts on a bright warm smile yet i still felt a bit uneasy
"Um, if you dont mind me asking.....why is Lily not getting....this talk?"
"Because James is just like his father," she looks to her husband who just smiles at her, "So i know your sister wont be able to hurt James very easily. Besides ive heard how James has chased Lily for years. If anything im surprised your father didnt give James that talk"
"He was too busy trying to stop Lily and our sister Petunia from arguing.....or he was hiding from the arguing"
Sirius suddenly comes out with 2 cups of tea and sets them down next to Fleamont and Euphemia
"Thank you dear. Now go show Bud here around"
He nods adn we go back inside. Once we are out of ear shot and eye sight i let out a deep breath, "Your mother is scary"
He chuckles and nods as he puts his hands in his pockets, "She can be. I asked her not to scare you but she worries"
"Too bad you and James dont have to deal with that fear," i frown a bit
"Why do you say that?"
"My dad is very relaxed and my mum would be over the moon Lily found a wizard man. I havent.....i havent told them i fancy men," i stare ahead as i frown in thought, "Mum is too worried about Petunia and her wedding to have even asked how school was. She never really was interested in me. My sisters always fought so she was always dealing with them or waiting on Petunia hand and foot. My dad.....i tried to tell him today but.....it went right over his head"
"So i dont have to worry about a scary muggle parent? Sounds good to me," he beams at me
I shove him gently and smile at him, "Sod off"
"Make me"
I smirk at him, "You really want me to make you? Because i will"
He smirks back, "Id like to see you try"
In an instant he apparated away leaving me shocked. Since he turned 17 a year before the rest of us he has already mastered apparate.
"Not fair! I dont know the house!" I shout for the whole house to hear me since i dont know where he went
