I sat with Lily at the Gryffindor table. I wasnt actually a Gryffindor, i was a Ravenclaw. I was only sitting here because Lily is my twin sister and we dont get to hang out as much as we used to when we were younger
I looked different then Lily. I had brown hair that went to my shoulders and bright blue eyes. Other then that i looked like a male version of Lily. My hair was just as thick as Lily's but it never felt or looked right no matter what i did to it. I even tried cutting it short one year and literally cried for 3 days before it magically grew back out. Ive still been trying to figure out what i wanted to do to change it and help me stand out more. I guess i was still looking for me
"A new school year and already its starting out great," Lily grins at me, "Sev is coming to breakfast over here, ive been able to avoid Potter, and every girl in Hogwarts has banned Sirius Black from getting under there skirts"
I chock on my sausage to the point i had to pound on my chest while Lily, gently, pats my back
"Ok......can we refrain from speaking about Black and having sex with women please?"
"Oh come on," she rolls her eyes, "I didnt even go into detail. He has sex with girls, get over it. Just because you fly for the same team as me doesnt mean you need to act like a child when a guy flies for the opposite team"
I pause then slowly look at her, "Did you.......did you just use Quidditch.......to.....to describe me being gay?"
She blushs a little and turns away with huff. I didnt have tine to say anything more because Severus sat down in the seat across from us. All 3 of us practically grew up together. Severus was sorted into Slytherin and had been growing distant as the years went by. Now in our 5th year it seems he is trying to come back to us, hopefully
"Morning Lily, Bud," like always Severys was more interested in Lily then me, not that i minded too much
"Morning Sev/Severus," i preferred to call Severus by his full name
"Potions first thing this morning. Let me know if either of you need any help"
"We always do," Lily grins happily at Severus, "And if we can do anything to help you let us know"
"We could always go back to going to the library on Wednesday's after dinner and maybe hanging out on Saturdays," i offer smiling however my smile weakens as i notice Severus look over at his table for a moment
It wasnt a secret that most of Slytherins hated muggles and hated muggle borns. Ive been called a mudblood more then once in my time here at Hogwarts and each time i ended up cursing or hexing the person or people involved. If i ever caught or heard of someone calling Liky a mudblood, well, they tended to end up in the hospital wing of Hogwarts
"Maybe we can," he finally says with weak smile
Its at that moment we are handed our classes for the year. Im taking Divination, Study of Ancient Runes, and Care of Magical Creatures
"I still dont get why your taking Divination. Its hog wash," Severus says as he looks at my classes with a frown, "And you have a free class every week??"
"I already spoke to my head of house. Im planning on taking 4 different N.E.W.T.s in 7th year. My head of house is giving me this year to rlax before i buckle down the next 2 years"
"When are you ever not relaxed?" Lily asks with a frown, "You make perfect grades as if it were as easy as breathing"
"Wait, is it not supposed to be that easy?" I teasingly ask making Lily shove me a little and Severus smirk
Our happy little moment was ruined by James plopping into the seat next to Lily while Sirius sits next to me and Severus is stuck between Remus and Peter. Never did like Peter, reminded me of a rat
"And there goes my happy morning," Lily putters as she glares at James
"Speaking of happy morning," i speak up before James can say anything then turn and smirk at Sirius who now looks alarmed, "I heard from a little birdy every girl is going on strike against you"
"Huh?!" He looks around quickly at the women around
I take a moment and glance around to see every girl is buddied up with at least 1 other girl and not a single one is looking at Sirius
"Told you they were acting differently," Remus mutters but i could hear it clearly
"B-but......why are they ignoring me....?" He pouts and looks like the most adorable puppy i have ever seen
"Maybe because there tired of you shacking up with them then ditching them"
"But no one has complained before"
"Yes they have," all 5 of us say at the same time making Sirius pout even more
Chuckling i pat Sirius on the back as i stand up, "Looks like your balls will be turning blue this year. Hope the jewels dont fall off. As for you Potter," i smack his hand, that was not so secretly, moving to go around Lily, "Hands off my sister. You two may make beautiful babies in the future but not until your married for at least a year. Till then no touching"
Lily looks at me as if i just threw her to the enemy while James looked like he was caught between looking happy and depressed. It was quite amusing and a very good way to start the day
I look do Severus and give a nod before leaving. I didnt wanf to draw attention to him and it seems he understood that as he nodded back as i left
