Chapter 38

I was sleeping peacefully, that is till someone jumps on me. I let out a groan and turn my head and frowning as I saw Lily's happy smiling face

"Come on!" She whisper shouts at me, "Get up before the boys attack"

We had learned every year Sirius, James, Remus, and Peter all do some kind of prank on each other to celebrate there birthday. When each of them turn 17 the prank is even worst. Lily had over heard the boys talking about doing something to us this year, today, on our 17th birthday. Luckily it's a Saturday so we have no classes. All we have to do is hide from them all day

"Did you get what we needed?" I ask her in a whisper as i get up

"I got the cloak," she whispers, "But I couldn't find the map"

"Sirius had it," I quickly get dressed as she turned away from me, we were also trying not to wake anyone up, "I snagged it last night"

Once i was dressed we left the dorm room and headed to the commons area. I opened the map before putting my wand to it, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good"

The map shows itself and we look at it to see James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter all heading this way. Lily and I quickly got under the invisible cloak and stood off to the side of the commons room. We waited and watched as the boys were able to get into the commons room. No doubt Remus figured out the riddle

Once they were inside they snuck real quietly up the stairs to the boy's dorm room. Once they were up the stairs Lily and I snuck over to the door before Lily raised her wand and waved it. Moments later loud popping could be heard from my dorm room along with angry and scared shouts

Laughing Lily and I hurried out of the painting and stayed off to the side as we waited. Sure enough Sirius, James, Remus, and Peter all came bolting out of the painting and racing down the hall with angry Ravenclaw chasing after them

Lily and I had today planned out. We were going to mess with the boys all day long. They were planning to prank us, news to them we're gonna prank them all day long

Once breakfast time came many of the Ravenclaw boys were upset and cranky. Lily and I had looked in while under the invisible cloak and watched as James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter all whispered together. We could tell James and Sirius were more annoyed then Remus and Peter

We knew better then to walk inside the Great Hall so instead we stood outside the door and this time I raised my wand and waved it. Seconds later buckets of ice water land on all 4 guys making them cry out and making those close to them jump away. Lily and I laugh but so does most of the Great Hall. Of course the guys looked around but we were no where to be seen

Lily and I ran before they could make it to the hall way. Sadly they figured out we had the invisibility cloak because right as we rounded another corner the cloak flew off us and flew backwards. I made sure to add a spell to the map so it couldn't be called away from who ever had it. That would be too easy for them

After breakfast Lily and I sat outside by the Black Lake and watched the map as the guys walked around the school and went through hidden passages. Lily and I had set up fake Bud and Lily dummies by a tree we normally sat at at the Black lake. Lily and I were really sitting in the bushes not too far away

We watched as the guys made it outside and all snuck as quietly as possible to us. They got about 6 feet away before James and Sirius pulled out there wands. They aimed them and shot a spell at the fake us. The moment the spell hit the dummies the dummies turned into screeching angry bats that chased the guys back in school and down several halls before vanishing.

Eventually the boys got Peeves to come after us but I was already ahead if them. I had spoke to Peeves the day before and made a deal that if he didn't mess with Lily or I today I would make sure his least favorite ghost wouldn't come after him for a month. He agreed and we had heard Peeves hit the boys with everything he had

By lunch time Lily and I had gone to see the elves and ate with them. The elves were nice enough to give us our favorite meals and our favorite desert. Sadly they wouldn't do any pranks to the boys nor would they lock them out of the kitchen. I couldn't blame them on that one. The boys did almost catch us in the kitchen too till one of the elves apparate us to Lily's room.

That's how the day went. By the time dinner was over with the boys had come back to the Head Boy and Girl commons room but Lily and I stayed away. We knew better then to see them until our birthday was over. And, at midnight, we did finally come back to the commons room

The moment we walked in we saw all the guys passed out on the couches or floor, or in Sirius' case on the table. They still had paint, slime, and some of there clothes were senged.

I gave Lily a small smile before going over to Sirius and gently moving some hair from his face. He sired a little bit before huffing

"Go away....."

"Come on Sirius, you can't sleep on the table"

He turns his head away from me, "Watch me"

"You gonna pout all night or do you want to go to your room since its empty?"

He's quiet for several moment before he sits up then looks at me with a pouty frown. Huffing he gets up and leaves the room not even waiting for me. Chuckling I tell Lily goodnight before chasing after a pouty Sirius
