Chapter 19

I sighed heavily as i sat on the couch and watched as Lily and Petunia argued, yet again. Lily had made a comment about Petunia's hair style not looking good with her dress or something and Petunia lost it. They have now been arguing for the past 2 hours and are now at the point of screaming

"Now i see why your mother insisted on going to the store alone," dad mutters as he sits next to me in the recliner with the paper hes already read

"Shouldnt you stop them?" I ask him with a raised eyebrow

He looks at me also with a raised eyebrow, "As a father of 2 daughters i have learned to leave that shouting to your mother. As a man who once had a bride i know not to step anywhere near an angry bride. You'll find out when you get married and have a daughter"

I pause for a moment before speaking up again, "What if.....i dont want to get married or have kids"

"Good luck finding a women who doesnt want to get married and have even better luck finding a women do doesnt want kids," he says as he goes back to reading the paper. Both og us ignoring the loud bang sound from the kitchen and the shouts that got louder

"W-what.....i dont want to be.....with a women....?" I ask mroe hesitantly

"Well if you want to be alone the rest of your life thats your choice son," dad says and turns the page as he mutters to himself, "I wish i had at times"

I opened my mouth again before closing it and sighing heavily. I didnt feel like telling my dad i fancy men so i just put my cheek on my fist and my elbow on the arm rest and looked back to the hallway Lily and Petunia vanished from

"Im home!" Mum calls out loudly as she comes into the house with a few bags

In an instant Petunia ran to mum with Lily not too far behind

"Oh thank goodness! Mother tell Lily she needs to butt out! She says my hair looks horried! Can you believe it?!"

"I did not say your hair looked horried! I said-"

I groan and throw my head back and looked up at the ceiling. That is till the fireplace lights itself on fire and out steps James and Sirius grinning widely

"Sirius!" I jump up quickly, grab my trunk, then ran to James before pushing James further into the room while yanking Sirius into thd fireplace, "Bye mum! Bye dad! Love you and write you both later!"

I grab some powder and throw it down, "Potter house!"

In an instant flames surround us and after a few moments the flames vanish as i see a nice elegant housd of the Potter house.

"Didnt want me meeting your parents?" Sirius asked in a playful tone but i think he really was hurt by my sudden movements to get us to leave

"More like my sisters have been arguing non stop for 4 bloody weeks," i look at him qith a very tired look, "From 6 in the morning to midnight or later. I was ready to leave by day 2. I bet you when James comes back with Lily he will looks just like me and i bet you he didnt get to say a word to our parents. Mum will be busy trying to calm Petunia down and dad will be hidding away or magically lose his hearing. Trust me, you dont want to be there. Besides, you'll meet them another time"

I walk out of the fire place and look around a bit more. Not much has changed since the last time i was here except there were new pictures of Sirius and James here and there

"Ill show you to your room. Fleamont and Euphemia are out back. We can go see them when James and Lily get back"

I nod and follow Sirius up stairs and to the last door to the right. He opens the door for me and lets me walk in first. The room was as big as the dorms in Hogwarts and looked just as nice but only had 1 bed in it. It was crazy to think they had rooms this big but only had 1 person sleeping in it

I barely got to put my trunk down before i heard the door closed and am suddenly spun around and had lips pressed hard into mine.

I hum partly in surprise but happily kissed him back once it clicked what was going on.

The kiss didnt last long before Sirius rests his forehead on my own and sighs with his eyes closed

"Bloody hell. What have you done to me?"

I chuckle as i watch him, "I havent done a thing"

"You did something," he opened his eyes and pulled away a little to look at me clearly, "Why else would i miss kissing you?"

I chuckle a bit, "Not my fault your addicted to me"

"So you didnt miss me?"

"I never said that. If i didnt miss you i would have left you at my parents house and made a run for it alone. See not leaving you behind means i care. Just wait till James shows up"

He chuckles and kisses me again before sighing then opens the door again, "Come on, lets go wait for James a Lily"

I nod and follow him down stairs. Just as we step off the stairs we pause and watch as James and Lily step out of the fireplace. James looked overwhelmed and unsure what to do while Lily looked furious for a moment before i could see her face start to turn and i knew she was about to cry

Sighing softly i go over to her and pull her into a hug. Instantly she bursts into tears and start asking why Petunia is so mean andwhy she doesnt want Lily in her wedding and why she didnt want Lily's option. I just hug her tight and just stood there silently as she just babbled on

"What happened mate?" I barely hear Sirius whisper to James

"I....dont even know......" James whispers back making me smile slightly at him. I made a mental note to tell him about the secret of staying silent when a women is upset and just needs to rant
