Chapter 36

I couldn't help but feel a little nervous as I sat in the Room of Requirements and stared at the crystal ball in my hands. I wasn't going to force any but I was worried of going into a daze again. I guess that's why I didn't tell anyone I was going to spend my free period in here. Sirius, James, Lily, and Remus all had classes I was the only one who had free period right now. 

Taking a slow deep breath in I look down at the ball and focus while relaxing my body. I held the ball up and watched it. It didn't take long for the gray clouds to fill the ball. As the clouds fill, I could feel my magic swirling around in my body and in the ball. Slowly the clouds change, and I see something clearly show and this time I could hear voices as well

"Be careful please," I say to Sirius as he pulled a jacket one. I was worried, very worried about him

"I will," he smiles at me and gently cups my face, "Now please, stop worrying so much. It's not good for little Henry"

He squats down and now puts his hands on my swollen belly and gently kisses it, "Be good for your daddy ok little man?"

I feel tiny hits from within my belly hitting Sirius' hands making Sirius chuckle. I couldn't help but smile and place my hands over Sirius'. I was so excited and could feel so much love coming from Sirius as he loved on our child that was growing inside me

"I'll be back before you both know it"

"You better," he stands up and gives me a kiss before leaving the house

I turn and make my way into the living room and sit down with a book. Next to me were needles floating in the air knitting a Gryffindor colored blanket. Folded neatly on the couch was a Ravenclaw colored blanket. I hummed a soft lullaby as I read and gently rubbed my belly. Even though there was a war going on I felt at peace here at home and enjoyed this time

A few hours go by, and I was started to doze off when I suddenly hear a pop sound outside. Sitting up quickly I let out a small breath before struggling to stand up and set my book down. I waddle over to the door and opened it figuring it was James or Lily, hopefully even Sirius

The moment I opened the door my eyes widen in fear as I see Peter standing shakily behind Tom Riddle who was smirking. I quickly shut the door and moved as fast as I could to my fireplace only for green flames to appear and out steps a Death Eater smirking at me. I stop and turn as the door is exploded open and in walks Tom Riddle with Peter coming in as well but staying away a bit

"Bud Evans, I've heard a lot about you thanks to Peter here," Tom says making me glance at Peter before I look back at Tom, "I'm impressed with your magic skills, especially since you're a filthy mudblood. I also hear you have the gift of sight into the future. You will be very useful to me"

"I've seen what happens when you find out. You know if a seer forces a vision they go into a mental state where their mind is lost in the future never to return to their body. You force me to see the future yet never get to know what happens"

His smile vanishes before he looks down at my belly. I was quick to put my hands on my belly as if to shield my unborn child from him

"I will make this simple for you. You tell me what you see and I let your child live. You go into your daze state and your child will suffer a fate worst then death. How does that sound?"

I kept a blank look on my face yet inside I was panicking. What do I do? I couldn't trust Tom, yet I was in no position to do anything. I can't use strong magic or it would hurt my child yet if I did what Tom wanted then it could be worst for everyone. He can't look into my mind I've made sure of that but I could use this to help end the war in our favor maybe.
