I woke up Christmas morning early. I woke up before Sirius, which is odd seeing as he normally wakes up first. Smiling I carefully slip out of bed, get dressed, then hurry out of the room and down the stairs. Going out the front door I grin when I see Sirius' present sitting there.Nodding I put a bow on it before I turn and go back to Sirius. I slowly crawl back into bed and start kissing him on his cheek before slowly moving my way to his neck which I start to gently suck and nip. He groans softly and wraps his arms tightly around me pulling me to his chest tightly
"Mm, wonderful way to wake up......"
"Took you long enough too," I grin at him as I pull away super exited for Sirius to see his gift, "Come on! Let's go open presents!"
Sirius grumbles but gets up and smiles at me as I grab his hand and drag him out of the room. thankfully James and his parents came out fairly quickly and we all went downstairs to open presents.
"Is that all of them?" I ask eagerly before looking to James' parents to find them smiling at me with their cameras ready
"What is up with you?" Sirius asks with a confused look on his face
"You have one more present," I quickly run to the door and beam at Sirius, "Come on!"
Sirius looks to James but he was just as clueless. Finally, Sirius gets up and walks over to me. I open the front door and quickly get out of the way.
"This is why I'm so tired," I explain as Sirius slowly steps outside with wide eyes, "I had been working every chance I could to save up enough money for the down payment for the motorcycle for you. Your parents paid the rest which was very helpful"
Sirius stared wide eyed and mouth dropped at the motorcycle. He was speechless which is what I was hoping would happen. I couldnt wait for him to try it out.
"Bud......" Slowly a smile apears on his face as he quickly pulls me to him and kisses me hard for several seconds before he let go and stared at me, "I love you!"
He quickly runs over to the motorcycle while im left standing there surprised. Sirius just admitting to loving me. He did it in a state of pure excitement though, I shouldnt get too excited.
Turning I watch as Sirius looked all over the motorcycle examining it as he spoke aloud. We stayed out there for as long as we could but eventually it became too could and we had to go back in
"Come on Sirius. You can admire your bite later. Lets go inside before we get frost bite"
Sirius pouts but eventually comes in. The moment we do come in, however, Sirius clings to me thanking me over and over and over again and kissing my cheek several times
"Ok knock it off love birds," James calls out with a chuckle as he watches us, "Your making me jealous"
Before Sirius could give a witty comeback we were startled by the green fire that lit the fire place. Seconds later Lily comes out looking upset before she looks to me. She looked furious
"Lily? You ok?" James asks while i watch worriedly
Her face slowly changed from fury to sadness as she watches me, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Tell you what?"
"What dad said to you"
I feel Sirius let me go as i sigh and look down a bit, "I didn't want you having to choose a side. You should be able to have your family even if not all together"
She pulls me into a tight up which I return, "You should have told me....."
I didn't say anything as I just hugged her. I didn't want her to be mad at our parents for the last few years they are alive. I know she would regret it
"You missed Sirius' reaction to his gift"
She pulls away quickly and gasps slightly as she looks to James, "You took pictures didn't you?"
"Don't worry I did," Euphemia says with a smile, "Sirius even confessed to loving Bud"
Lily's eyes widen as she beams but I simply look away and try not looking at anyone seeing as it was a bit embarrassing to have it called out like that
"He did? How'd he say it?" Lily asks me excitedly making me frown a bit
"He said, and I quote, 'I love you' then rand to his motorcycle. That's it. No big romantic anything"
She frowns at me and crosses her arms over her chest, "There is nothing wrong with romance"
"And there is nothing wrong with not needing romance," I shoot back at her as i cross my arms over my chest
"Its sweet!"
"Its over rated"
She narrows her eyes at me while I watch her with a neutral look on my face. We stand there in silence staring without blinking. We were now in a war to see who would brake
"Romance spices things up"
"Sirius spices this up when he takes his clothes off"
Lily blinked making me smirk while i hear laughter coming from James and Sirius' parents. I look over to see Sirius smirking
"Mines better"
"Sirius!" Euphemia scolds while her husband smiles
"I've told you before and I'll tell you again. My Lily is better"
"What did Lily get you for Christmas?" Sirius challenges as he crosses his arms over his chest and smirks
"She got me a broom cleaning kit which i needed and love"
"You already have a new one mum got you a month ago"
"Lily didn't know"
I couldn't help but chuckle as I look back to Lily as she watched me, "I'm alright I promise"
She watches me for a moment before smiling and giving me a single nod, "Well, show me the bike. I would like to see what you spent your money and sleep on"
I chuckle a bit before leading her outside as Sirius and James keep arguing inside. There parents simply watched them not caring enough to stop them
