I sat in Divination in a group of 4 people. We sat with a crystal ball in front of each of us. We were to try and see our future in it. I wasnt seeing anything at the moment
Suddenly, as im about to give up, i see light grey clouds fill the crystal ball. Inside it i see, what looks like, a rat scurry across the clouds before going down into it and vanishing. The funny thing is i could almost hear the nosies a mouse makes and hear the little nails and paws running across a hard surface. A green light then stricks across the clouds and i hear a women scream. A lightning bold sticks and i hear a baby crying. Then i see 2 coffins laying side by side each other and i can hear the cries of people moaning. What scares me is one of those people sounds like me. Finally the clouds turn green and a skull with a snake around it apears
Getting too over whelmed by what i saw and heard, i quickly stand up and end up accidently tripping on my chair and falling.
I couldng take my eyes off of the now clear crystal ball but i could feel everyone staring at me
"Are you alright deary?" The Professor comes over and gently lays a hand on my shoulder
"I have to," i quickly get up, grab my bag, and run from the class ignoring everything and every one
I didnt understand at all what i saw but at the same time i knew it was something very bad.
It wasnt until i ran around a corner that i ran into a body and we both fall to the floor
"Bloody hell! Watch where-"
I look over and see Severus laying on the floor cleadly angry however the anger vanishes as he sees me and sees the look on my face.
"Bud? Whats wrong?"
"I think.......i think i just saw someone die......."

Severus and i sat in an old abandoned class room. He sat next to me as i stared at my hand
"Tell me again what you saw and heard"
"A rat running across a hard surface"
"Do you know what kind of surface?" He cuts in
"I dont know. I could hear the little scrapping of the nails. Maybe concrete?"
"Ok, then what?"
"A flash of green light and a women scream"
"Ok well that could be any number of spells maybe. Then what?"
"A lightning bolt and a baby crying"
"I haven't a clue on that one"
"Then......i see 2 coffins and i hear people crying and moaning.......and i hear myself," i look to Severus with tears in my eyes, "Severus i was crying as if my parents had died or as if Lily had died. It was 2 coffins though so.......what if......what if my parents are going to die soon?"
"Hey, calm down," he puts a hand on my shoulder to try and calm my down, "There not dying any time soon ok? Its just a stupid class. Who knowns, maybe someone put a charm or something on your crystal ball"
"Maybe......." i look back down at the table before slowly drawing out the skull and snake

"What are you.......why are you drawing that...?"
"Its the last thing i saw. A skull with this snake. Not sure what it means at all but......i saw it"
I look back over to Severus and see him clinching his arm while he stares hard at the picture i drew in the dust.
"Severus? Whats wrong?"
"If you trued again, docyou think you could get a clear image of the things you saw?" Severus asks in a whisper as he finally looks at me in the eyes again
"I dont know. My professor says its hard to get a picture and sound together. Says its almost impossible to get a clear understanding of what you see. You have to be very talented to be able to see and understand whats in the future"
"Unless you take a potion to help make it clear," he mutter then looks at me a bit frantically, "Bud, im going to make a potion and i need you to drink it and look into the crystal ball again. Its very important"
Before now he blew off the whole class and now he wants me to try and see the future again? I look down at the drawing then back at him then his arm
"Lift your sleeve"
He tenses up but other then that doesnt move
"Severus"
"You dont understand.......i had to......" he whispers as he slowly pulls his sleeve up showing off the same thing i saw in the ball
"What does it mean?" I look to his face but he was looking away
"Im going to go get started on the potion," he gets up and quickly leaves lesving me alone with my thoughts
That mark must mean something bad for him to react like that. Should i really get involved in something if it is dangerous or bad?
"Damn my curiosity...."
I mutter softly as i get up and go back to class, which is now empty minus my professor. She was cleaning up some mess a student made and moving my crystal ball out of the way
"Im sorry," she stops and looks to my in surprise then smiles
"Its alright dearly. Some people get over whelmed especially there first vision. I fainted after my first one"
"Is it......is there any way to clear up the.....vision?"
"Well," she sighs as she sets the ball down on her desk and sits behind her desk, "Ive heard if you see more then one thing then you should focus on one thing and go from there. Im asuming you saw more then one thing so try looking into each by themselves"
I slowly walk forward and look into the ball. I cleared my mind of everything but the rat i sat. I thought of the rat and nothing but the rat as i tried to get the ball to react.
Seeing it wasnt doing anything i picked the ball up and held it close as i stared into it. In moments grey clouds apear in the ball. I see the rat again however this time he was in more detail. I could see him run on concrete and run into a sewer drain. It had blood on one paw and missing a toe. Why was i seeing him?? Why was he injured? Why missing just a toe???
"Thats enough!"
The ball was yanked from me the same moment it cracks and i feel myself fall to the ground. Darkness surrounds me before i hit the floor
