Chapter 24

"I am starving!" Sirius says excitedly as we all sit down at the table for breakfast

"Wait for everyone to sit down," Euphemia warms Sirius when he tried to get some food

He pouts but sits back with his arms crossed and waits. Lily finally sits down as she sighs heavy. I knew what was wrong so i didn't say anything

"Are you alright?" James asks worriedly

"Yes im fine"

I want her for a moment before getting some food and putting it on my plate. Everyone else did the same but Sirius was acting like he was starving. I couldnt help but chuckle a bit as i watch him scarf down food

"Sirius, what has gotten you eating like that? You act like you havent eaten in days!"

"Just hungry," he says after a moment

I glance over at Lily again before gently nudging her. She glances at me and gives me a small smile before holding her fingers up to tell me a little bit. I knew what it ment so i nodded to her and waited till breakfast was finished

James and Sirius went off to get something while Euphemia cleaned up from breakfast. Lily went off to her room so i went to Euphemia

"Euphemia, do you have any tea and some chocolate? Maybe a heading pad?"

She looks to me snd frowns, "Well of course, why do you ask?"

"Lily, shes started her monthly womanly problem. She wont take any pain meds till the oain is unbearable but i know shes hurting. Heating pad normally helps and the tea calms her nerves. She also loves chocolate"

Euphemia smiles a bit as she watches me, "Go tell her to take a hot bath. That should help. Then go and distract the boys and ill help her"

I nod and head off and knock on Lily's door. When she answered i told her whats Euphemia said then head off to find James and Sirius.

"So when is the Quidditch wolrd cup?" I ask once i find them in James room looking through a trunk

"Hm? Oh, we are going in a few days. Because of the fear of muggles finding out about us different groups of people go to the spot at different times. Since mum and dad got good seats we are going soon but the game wont be till the last week of summer. There will be loads to do while we wait"

"So what will Lily be doing?" I ask as i lean on thr wall and watch James, "You know she doesnt like the same things you do when it comes to entertainment"

"Thats what we were doing in here," James says with a big smile, "Sirius and i bout loads of muggle games to play!"

I blink several times before going over to the trunk and look in it. Sure enough there were tons of games in it

"When did-"

"Over the years," Sirius answers before i could fully ask, "Remus got us most of them but we couldnt play them"

"Wheres Lily? I want her opinion on the games"

James goes to leave the room but i stop him, "Lily is with your mjm right now"

"Why?"

"You know how Remus has a furry little problem once a month?" He nods with a cofnused look on his face, "Women have a.....red little problem once a month that lasts a week and the first few days can be the most......difficult"

"What?" Both Sirius and James looked confused but now James looked concerned too

I pause for a moment before sighing, "Ok, time to learn about womem"

By the time i finish both Sirius looked horrified while James looked to be concentrating. What he was concentrating on so hard i have no idea but it was clear it was soming

"Your serious.....? Bout all it?" Sirius asks me

"Well actually your Sirius im Bud," I smirk while he frowns at me. After the amout of time he and James has pulled that on us it was my turn, "And yes its all true. You forget i have 2 sisters. When my mum sat Lily down to tell her my mum sat me down next to Lily so i could learn too. I try my best to help her out during this time"

"What do i need to know?" James asks with a serious look, "How can i help her?"

"Firstly dont draw attention to her. Dont ask if shes ok, dont smother her, dont tell anyone, except me you can tell me but im her twin so ill most likely know before you. Now she wont take any medication unless she is crying in pain but dint let that fool you she is in pain. Normally its only the first too days that hurt her so give her space but if she wants cuddles or wants attention give it to her. She LOVES chocolate during that time and tea always helps her relax. If she does want your attention or wants you to touch her offer a back massage. It helps her a lot especially if you get her lower back and dont be scared to dig in, she gets mad at you if you dont go hard"

He nods as he watches me intently. It was almost scary how intensely he was starung but i also found it sweet he cared so much about her that he wanted to know all the tips to help her feel better

"Ok, i can do that"

"Oh, one more thing," i say as i lean on the wall, "Later on i gotta show you the female products women use during this time. Lily prefers tampons but if she doesnt have a strong flow she settles for pads"

"Huh?" And he looked confused again

I open my mouth then close it and sigh, "Come on, lets see if your dad will take us to a muggle store. Ill show you what i mean and how it all works"

"I think ill stay here," Sirius says hesitantly and one look at him showed he was very much freaked out

"Nope," i grab his arm and yank him with me, "Your best friend will one day marry my sister and make her push your godson out of her. You get to learn all the joys of a women as well"

"Why are you punishing me? What did i do?" He pouts but doesnt fight back
