I stood up in my seat and cheered as another goal was made. Sirius was right next to me cheering as well.
Grinning i turn to him expecting to see James next to him but i dont see James. Frowning i look around Sirius but see James and Lily missing
"Where'd they go?" I ask Sirius with a frown
He looked to the empty seats next to him before looking to me and shrugging, "I didnt see them leave"
Frowning i motion my head for Sirius to follow me as i got up and headed out of the stands. Once on solid ground out of the stands i look around to find tents everywhere but not no one really around
"What are we doing?" Sirius asks once i pause to look around
"We are going to stalk James and Lily"
"Oh ok"
He follows me as i head over to our tent. I figured that was the best place to look first. Sure enough as i poked my head into the tent i saw clothes on the floor and i heard Lily giggling from her bed where the curtains were down.
I pull my head back out from the tent and chuckle as i move away, "Well, looks like James cares enough about getting some to miss the Quidditch World Cup"
"Well is does look like it will last more then 2 days," Sirius says in a low voice, "Its almost the end of day 2 and both teams are down a Seeker right now. Hopefully by tomorrow the Seekers are back up and catch the snitch"
"Figured you'd like a Quidditch game going on for several days," he and i start walking around slowly as we talk
"Normally yes but," he pauses and glances around before speaking again, "Im not a fan of being in that tent where i cant sneak into your bed"
I chuckle and give him a small smile, "You do realize you cant do that at Hogwarts right?"
"But Hogwarts we can skip class or go off somewhere during free period"
"You also do pranks with James and Remus. You womt have much free time"
He frowns a bit, "Ill make it work. We can still get time to be alone"
I didnt say anything as i looked forward again.
"Are you...having second thoughts....bout us?" Sirius asks after a moment of silence
"What?" I look at him shocked, "No! Course not, i just......i dont like hiding us from Lily"
"You dont seem to dislike hiding it," he mutters as he looks forward
"Whats that supposed to mean?" I stop walking and turn ti him fully
"Well you haven't told your parents. You want me to be your plus one as your friend not as your boyfriend"
That had been the first time either of us had put a label on what we were. Had it been a different situation i would have been happy to hear him say boyfriend
"I havent told my parents because they have been busy with-"
"With your sisters wedding ya so you've said," he now shakes his head and turns away from my clearly annoyed, "You know Euphemia didnt have to take me in. Hell she could have kicked me out after i told her about you but she didnt. Shes not my biological mum yet i told her because i didnt want to hide you from her. Guess its just me though"
"Sirius-"
"Im going to go for a walk," he walks off before i could evne say anything else. I also noticed him light a cigarette. I had asked him not to smoke around me and ive told him id prefer he didnt smoke but i wasnt going to stop him. I thought he had quit, seeing as i hadn't smelt it on him since id been staying at James' house

Sirius seemed to be mad at me the rest of summer. If James and Lily were busy or wanted to be alone sirius would go off with Remus and/or Peter. He didnt want to be alone with me
"Why dont you invite Sirius?" Lily says as she and i get dressed in nice clothes for the wedding. We are taking a port key that will lead us right behind the building Petunia is getting married at
"Honestly, what could have happened to make you both stop talking to each other. You both seemed to be getting along really well till the Quidditch game started. Did you both bet on something?"
"I-" I pause for a moment before sighing and shake my head a bit, "Ill be waiting at the port key. We have 3 minutes"
I knew it was a bad idea to ignore her questions but i didnt know how to answer and i didnt want to lie to her. I figured it was best just to leave the tent and head off to the port key. Our pets and luggage will be sent to Hogwarts for us.
As i wait at the port key i looked around hoping Sirius might show up but i knew he wouldnt. Hes mad at me. Ive tried to talk to him but we havent been alone and he doesnt want anyone to know so i was stuck in what to do
"Ok were ready!" Lily says as she dragged James behind her. He too was dressed up but in a muggle suit looking nice
Nodding i grab the old shoe and hold it out. All of us hold the shoe before quickly being sent to our destination. I was already ready for this to be over with. I really didnt wanf to go to Petunia's wedding but here i was doing it for Lily and our parents. Maybe after the wedding and at Hogwarts i could talk to Sirius and somehow fix this mess. Maybe i should just tell my parents im gay. That seemed to be what irritated Sirius, or hurt him. I think it did hurt him but i dont see why not telling my parents would hurt him
