Chapter 22

I look over at James who was pouting and clearly upset. Lily was giggling and trying to cheer him up. We were trying to wrap all the presents we had gotten for Petunia and its not going so well. Lily is very good at wrapping but James, he is horrible at wrapping without magic. 

"Do we have to do it the muggle way?' Sirius whispers to me. He was quick to follow my lead when it came to Lily 

"No you can do it the easy way just dont let her see," i whisper back before turning to Sirius

Lily and James were in the dinning room table while Sirius and i were in the living room. To James and Lily it was us giving them alone time but honestly it was us getting alone time as well. 

I watch as Sirius pulls his wand out and waves it. Suddenly all of the gifts we have are all wrapped and stacked up off to the side. 

"Much better"

"What do you want to tags to say?" 

"No tag," i say quickly before he can write anything, "If you write and say its from us she will toss it out. Thats why ours are wrapped in this wrapping paper. So if Lily ever goes of to Petunia's house she will see at least some of what she bought Petunia"

He smiles as he watches me, "Quite clever"

"I try"

He smiles at me before looking to James and Lily before turning back to me, "Want to go ride brooms outside?" 

My eyes widen at that, "Um....ya i dont ride brooms"

"What? Why not?" Now he was looking at me like i was mad

"Riding a broom terrifies me. First year i broke both of my arms from trying to ride one"

He chuckles a bit, "Come on you can ride with me"

"2 people on a broom?" Now i was looking at him like he was mad again

"Hey! How are you both already done?" I look over at Lily who was frowning at us

"Ya ill take broom riding over angry Lily"

Sirius laughs as he leads me outside quickly. I watch as Sirius gets a broom from the shed and walks back over to me. I could tell this one was different. The broom is thicker then the sticks i see on James or Sirius' brooms. 

"That looks different"

"Its thicker. Figured you like a thicker stick better," Sirius says as he stops in front of me, "Im gonna get on first. You can either sit in front of me or behind me up to you"

I stare wide eyed at him as i watch as he mounts the broom then looks to me, "Ya ill get on the back" 

He chuckles as i mount the broom behind him and grab the back of his leather jacket. He pushes off the ground slowly and i was quick to grip the broom with my thighs so my nuts didnt get squished, i did that my first year too, not fun.

"Hold on tight"

I didnt hesitate at all to wrap my arms around him and cling for dear life. Sirius laughs as he takes off into the air and honestly i was not enjoying this what so ever. I didnt see how anyone enjoyed this. I was terrified 

"Relax!" Sirius shouts over the wind and i can feel him slow down a bit, "You dont have to cling to me. I wont let you fall. Trust me" 

I hesitate as i slowly loosen my hold on him, "There you go. Im going to sit you. You sit up as well ok? Sitting up we go slower alright?"

I nod but i didnt say a word. Instead i clung to the broom by my thights and slowly sat up as he slowly sat up. Once we were sitting up almost straight i did a risky thing and looked over to my right. I instantly tightened my hold on Sirius as i saw just how high up we were which makes Sirius chuckle
