Chapter 34

"Take it easy! Remember this is a muggle vehicle, not a broom stick," Euphemia warns Sirius who was now dressed in all leather, thanks to Euphemia and Fleamont who bought him leather clothes

"I got it don't worry," Sirius smirks as he starts the motorcycle

His smirk widens as he revs the engine a bit before taking off down the road. I could hear Euphemia suck in a deep breath in worry but i didn't take my eyes off Sirius. He was radiating happiness right now. The smirk he was showing off and the way he was riding and holding himself. He was so happy. That right there made all the sleepless nights worth it for me

"You did a good job," James tells me as he pats my shoulder. He had an arm wrapped around Lily who was snuggled into him a bit thanks to the cold, "Can't tell you the last time he was this happy about something. Though you'll have a hell of a time getting him off the bike now"

I chuckle a bit already knowing that, "What's gonna be real fun is when he realizes he can't take it to Hogwarts"

James laughs a bit at this probably not realizing that bit till i said it. We looked back to Sirius and watched as he left our sight. Seeing he was gone from sight we knew he would be gone for a while so we headed back inside to get out of the cold. It also gave Lily and i a chance to spend the day together

"And here is a muggle Christmas meal!" Lily says happily as she and i bring the food to the table. Lily and i offered to cook tonight, well Lily cooked i just helped her

"It looks and smells wonderful!" Euphemia beams at us as she watches us set the table

"Should we try and wait for Sirius?" I ask a bit worried seeing as he's been gone for a while now

"Don't worry he'll be back here soon," Fleamont says as he smiles at me, "We can wait a little longer, let the food cool off a bit, then we will dig in with or without him"

I nod and sit down across from Lily as Lily sits next to James. We all got into comfortable talking with each other. It was one of those moments that I'd love to remember forever. Getting up quietly I head off and get my camera before standing back and taking several pictures of James and Lily and of Euphemia and Fleamont. I also got a few pictures of all 4 together as a family. Non of them seemed to notice me or they just ignored me as i took pictures as they talked and laughed

After taking the last picture I wanted to take I rested the camera on my chest a bit. I jumped a bit when the camera is taken from me yet before I could react Sirius had his arm around my stomach with his chest on my back and his head right next to me while he stretches his arm out with the camera and snaps a picture. I was caught by surprise at first before smiling and chuckling a bit

"You enjoy your ride?"

"I did," he kisses my cheek before letting me turn a bit to look at him, "I want to take you on a ride some time soon"

"Not tonight. Come on, Lily and I made dinner"

"Wait I thought you said you couldn't cook"

I roll my eyes but smile, "Ok, Lily cooked I helped. Now come on I'm starving"

He chuckles but says nothing as we go to the table. Sirius sat next to me and across from James. Once we sat, we were finally able to dig into the wonderful meal. Of course, the food was wonderful, and I enjoy it so much. It was moments like this that I would love to see and be involved with in the future with Harry, and the Weasley family, and all their friends. Maybe a few extra kids if Sirius and I decide to have kids together. 

"This is a wonderful meal. Thank you, Lily and Bud. Least I don't have to worry about James or Sirius going hungry"

"Sirius may," I say with a shrug, "I'm horrible at cooking. This was all Lily's doing I merely helped by handing her what she needed"

"Then it's a good thing Sirius can cook," Fleamont says with a smile before his wife could say anything, "Good bonding too"

"After dinner lets get a good family photo together," Lily says as she looks around at us

"What a great idea"

After we all finished eating, we cleaned ourselves up a bit and got the camera set up on a stand. Sirius was still in his leather which fit him seeing as that is who he is. There parents were both dressed in there pure blood wizard robes while James, Lily, and I were dressed in nice muggle clothes

We set the camera up then James and Sirius' parents stood in front of the fireplace before James and Sirius stood in the middle together. Lily stood on the other side of James while I stood on the other side of Sirius. Sirius put his arm around my waist and made sure to pull me close to him making me smile even more then I was before. We stood there still for several seconds before the camera went off with a bright flash

"Ok, your father and I are going to bed now. You lot clean up and try to keep the noise down alright?" Euphemia tells us as she and her husband head up stairs 

Lily and I went to go clean the table when suddenly the plates and all the leftover food lifts up and floats off to the kitchen. I turn and smile as Sirius had his wand out and was waving it

"You forget I'm of age and do not need to do things the muggle way. This way we finish quicker and get to having fun"
