Chapter 10. Fury

There were consequences for every action taken. Of course most people seemed to think the consequences of their actions wouldn't catch up to them until it did. Kat, was of course part of those people. That's why, although she should've expected it, it was completely shocking when Bub showed up at their spot in school that Monday, looking absolutely furious. His blue eyes were on fire and so was his red hair, as if it wasn't red enough already.

"Katrin, we need to talk" oh shit.

Everyone was there. Chris, Jan, Ash, and Jason. She hadn't told any of them that she was in cahoots with the devil and that he was Jason's brother and Jason hadn't said anything about it either. But now looking at the both of them- and look everyone did- it was quite obvious they were related.

"Hold on, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm seeing two Jasons" Jan said.

"Everyone, this is my twin brother. Lucy, these are my friends. What do you want?" Jason bit out. He appeared in front of Bub.

"I want to explain to Katrin that you do not mess with the King of hell" his entire body ignited then died down. Oh he was really pissed.

"Lucifer is your brother?" Chris asked. Ash and Jan looked like they also wanted to ask those questions.

"Yes he is. Lucy go away. We'll talk later" Jason ground out.

"Oh I'm not here to talk to you" he moved around Jason and grabbed Kat by her arm. "She and I need to have a little talk"

"Don't you dare touch her" Ash said. He shoved Bub's hand off Kat and Bub blazed again.

"I will do whatever the fuck I want. I don't need some Lycan telling me what to do. Now move aside or...." He paused and frowned curiosly. "What is that incessant sound?" He asked.

"What?" Kat asked.

"That continuous vibration!" He replied.

"I don't hear or feel anything Lucy. It's all in your head. Now get out"

"How do you even know him Kat?" Jan asked.

"It's complicated" she replied.

"What do you want with her?" Jason asked, glaring at his brother.

"Well she's been doing a lot of reading lately and I'd love to pick her brain on something" he bit out. Kat looked everywhere but at him. He knew she had his diary. How'd he find out?

"Okay I'm very confused" Chris said. Jan nodded and looked to Kat for a better explanation than 'It's complicated'.

"Oh enough! I want to speak with her and I will even if have to burn though you" he said to Ash who squared his shoulders in preparation for a fight. He wouldn't win. Bub couldn't die but he very much could.

"Okay, no need to make a scene. We can talk about this like adults" Kat said, stepping in between both men. Ash grabbed her hand, most likely to pull her behind him but she placed her other hand on his.

"It's okay. He won't hurt me. Jason will make sure of it, won't you Jase?" Jason nodded.

"Of course"

"Then it's settled. Let's go talk" as soon as she said this, Bub grabbed her arm and they vanished.

They appeared high up on something that was rocky and mountainy. It was a mountain!

"What's the meaning of this Lucy? What do you want?" Jason asked as he also appeared beside Kat.

"I think the better question would be, why here? Why a mountain?" Kat cut Bub off before he could reply to Jason.

"Well up here, no one can hear you scream" Bub replied darkly. He took a step toward her and she took two back.
