In some part of her head, Kat knew that if a bed was soft, the pillow was meant to be too. That was not the case for her at the moment. And yet she didn't have the energy or will to think too much about it. All she knew was that she was comfortable and that was all that mattered.

A few minutes passed though and the thought passed from her subconscious mind and into her conscious mind and she frowned, then opened her eyes. The sun gently caressed her eyes through opaque drapes. She could hear the quiet sounds of nature. The distant sounds of the birds singing and calling to one another, the rustling of the leaves in the gentle wind. On the surface everything was perfect. But under the surface, and by that she meant under her head, all wasn't well. Because she lay on a very muscular, very naked chest. She followed the chest up across the neck and to the face. Or what should have been the face but was a black abyss.

She quickly rolled off and promptly fell to the ground.

"Why am I in bed with you, you pervert?" She screamed. She stood up with an unwelcome blush painting her cheeks.

"Please. If anything I should be calling you a pervert. You pulled me into bed last night and wouldn't let go " her blush spread throughout her face and to her neck. Thankfully her honey colored skin hid just a bit of it.

"You're stronger than me. You could easily have gotten away"

"Guilty" she could hear the smile in his voice.

"Ass"

"You may not want to insult your captor"

"What so you saved me from Aldron just to kidnap me yourself?"

"Well not really kidnap. See I'm battling with myself. I came to earth to get you but of course I can't take you against your will" her heart slammed against her ribs.

"You mean like you're doing now?"

"Kitty if I kidnapped you I promise you wouldn't be in one of my best guest rooms, you'd be in my dungeons" she rolled her eyes even though she felt the heat of his glare.

"As I was saying before you so rudely interrupted, I need to take you back to my castle in the magical dimension but my morals won't let me" he sighed.

"Why?"

"What?"

"Why did you come all this way just to take me? How'd you even know me? The prophecy?"

"It's complicated" Kat face palmed.

"If I had a dollar for everytime someone told me that. Regardless, I'm not coming with you if your morals loose the battle. I don't really fancy the magical realm seeing as the air there would kill me" Kat strolled around the bed and sat herself down on the couch facing the large flat screen.

"No it won't. That's just a myth. And-" he was suddenly in front of her, so close that she could feel his minty breath on her face through the darkness that still surrounded his face even with the cloak off. "-if I wanted to take you to the magical realm, neither you nor your family and friends would have the power to stop me"

"What's up with the darkness on your face?" She asked.

"It's a spell. You see I have this girl, she thinks she's my girlfriend. I've told her countless times that she isn't but she doesn't listen. Now she's a witch and when she found out I was coming to see you she panicked and cast this spell on me, I think she called it a blank spell. It only works on females, especially you"

"Are you lying?" She asked.

"Nope. Got no reason to"

"It just seems far fetched. Why would she care that you're coming to see me?"
