Chapter 20. Knight in shining black

Flashback.....

She should tell them, she knew she should. She ought to. They were her best friends and she kept no secrets from them. But he insisted they keep their relationship a secret until they were sure it was serious. He didn't want them to get their friends excited over nothing. At least that's what he told her. She wanted to shout it from the rooftops. Her first relationship. Her first love. Finally someone who didn't see her as just a freak with no powers. He actually saw her. He liked her. It was amazing.

Tonight was the night. Tonight, she was ready to go all the way with him. Downstairs, the party was in full swing and she was up in her room which she always stayed at when she came to visit her grandma, overthinking as usual.

"Kat come on! Everyone's already here and drunk" Jan said as she and Chris walked in.

"Ooh looks like she's one of those things" Chris said, pointing at the empty bottle of vodka beside Kat.

"Sue me. I'm nervous" Kat admitted.

"Please. You look great! You know it gets old seeing you in dresses all the time. But that dress honey. Marvellous" Chris slurred. She was a little drunk herself.

Kat looked down at the dress in question. It was her favorite dress. It was a black and white sun dress that fell to her knees. The top had a plunging v neckline that showed enough cleavage. She paired it with strapy heeled sandals. Kat was obsessed with dresses. Her mom kept saying it was a phase she'd grow out of but Kat didn't think so. Dresses were her signature look.

"Come downstairs Kat! Let's go have fun. It's your birthday!" Jan cheered. She was also slightly drunk, Kat could see.

"Alright, alright. Let's go partay" they all cheered and ran out of the room.

A few minutes into the party, she spotted him. His brown hair was long and fell over his beautiful blue eyes a bit to give him a sort of mysterious look. He looked as hot as ever and he was hers!

She excused herself from her friends who didn't even notice, drunk as they were, and walked up to him. He put his hand up, palm out to tell her to stop, then pointed outside. She nodded and walked outside. A few minutes later he joined her. Together they entered into the large spacious shed that was one of Kat's favorite places on her grandma's property.

"Hey" she said with a cheeky smile. She stood up on her toes and kissed him. He grabbed her waist and kissed her back.

"Hi" he said when they pulled apart. They sat on the large sofa in front of the coffee table. It directly faced the TV but neither of them paid mind to it.

"I'm glad you came. You look great" Kat said.

"Yeah when don't I?" He joked.

"I missed you" she said.

He smiled and kissed her. Soon the kiss got heated and he picked her up and placed her astride his lap. She gasped as she felt his erection through his jeans. His lips left hers and started kissing her neck. He reached her sweet spot and sucked and she moaned.

"Logan" she whispered breathlessly.

They were cuddling on the couch. They had just had the best sex ever. Of course it was Kat's only time and she had nothing else to compare it to but it was pretty great for a first time. It was so heated they didn't even have time to take off their clothes. Her panties were somewhere in the shed but that was all that came off.

"I love how easy dresses are" Logan said after they caught their breaths.

"Me too"

"They're just as easy as you are" Logan said, his voice turning almost mocking. Kat frowned and turned to look at him.
