"She's so peaceful." She says, looking up at me.

"She is." I say, looking down at the baby.

"Can I maybe just, steal her? Forever?" Amara asks, looking up at Valeria.

"The sad part is, I don't think you're kidding." Valeria says, standing up when there's a knock on the door.

"Where's the baby?" Remington says as she comes barging into the living room area of the hotel suite. "Gimme."

"Unh uh." Amara says, shaking her head, "I just got her."

"You've been here longer than me."

"And this is the first time I'm seeing her. She's my niece, not yours."

"She's practically mine too. Especially considering my brother forbids me to see his kid." She says and my brows furrow.

"I didn't know you had a brother."

"Exactly." She says, sitting down next to Amara. "Look at all that hair."

"I know." Amara says, grinning down at Josefina.

"Aunt Remi!" Alondra yells, running into the room.

"Alondra. What did we talk about?" Jesús scolds.

"Sorry. I forgot."

"No yelling when Josefina's around. It hurts her ears, Mija."

"I said sorry." She says, climbing onto Remi's lap. "Hi!" She whisper yells.

Josefina starts to cry and Valeria immediately comes walking over.

"Nooo." Amara whines.

"She needs fed."

"I know." Amara huffs.

Valeria takes her out of Amara's arms and Amara dramatically slides to the floor.

"I want the babyyyy."

"At least you got to hold her." Remi snaps flipping her off.

"Al menos no te metí ese dedo por el culo." Amara mumbles.

"Puta."

"You do realize, that is usually used as "Prostitute" not "Bitch" right?" Amara asks, sitting up from the floor.

"Dammit."

"Remi said a bad word!"

"Ha." Amara says, standing up.

"Remi's a big girl." Jesús says, walking out of the room.

"We're gonna go get ready. We'll see you guys in a bit." Amara says, pulling me out of my seat.
