When Rebecca was asked out for drinks, she immediately said yes. She had been moping around Pam, Mercedes, and Ashley's apartment for a month now, and was about to lose her mind. This month though , Rebecca has managed to call Luke's mother and tell her what had happened. Of course his mom didn't believe her, and she threw a fit over Rebecca not being "appreciative" enough. Rebecca didn't let it bother her though, and instead of arguing, she sent the decorations and her dress to his moms house.

This morning though, Ashley told her that her, Mercedes, and Pam were going out for drinks tonight, and Rebecca couldn't turn it down. She needed—and wanted—to forget about Luke and Sarah, and right now, this was her only option.

Rebecca was picked up at 6 after putting on a black jumper and shoes, and they headed towards the restaurant. The four girls all went to the bar to get drinks, and when Rebecca thought she saw Colby, she convinced herself that she was drunk. But she wasn't, and when she got up to go to the bathroom, he ran right into her chest.

"Rebecca?" Colby asked making sure he wasn't going insane.

Rebecca smiled and thought about how crazy it was to run into him again. "Hey Colby."

Colby smiled and put his hand on her shoulder. "Are you ok? I didn't mean to run into you."

Rebecca shook her head. "No I'm ok. You didn't hurt me. Startled me, but you didn't hurt me."

Colby grinned and put his hands in his pockets. "Do you want to  grab a drink with me?"

Rebecca hesitated and looked over at her friends who were grinning, giving her a big thumbs up. Rebecca chuckled. "Sure. Are you here with anyone?"

Colby nodded and pointed towards Joseph and Jon. "They're my friends. They'll be out of it in a few minutes anyways so they won't bother us."

Rebecca smiled and sat down next to Colby, who sat a few seats down from Joseph. "How have you been?"

Rebecca sighed as the bartender turned around to make some drinks. "I've been...trying to get used to things. It's taken a while to ya know, get over him."

Colby sighed and shook his head. "I know what you mean."

Rebecca looked at him nervously. "Have you been ok?"

Colby looked over at her and gave her a small smile. "I've been better than I thought I would be." There was a short pause before he continued. "I thought about you most of the time..."

Rebecca blushed. "I thought about you too. I kept wondering how you were doing and when I was going to text you and ask I realized-"

"We don't have each others numbers." He said at the same time. "Yeah...I thought about doing the same."

They both laughed before the bartender handed them their drinks. They sat in silence for a few moments before Colby looked down at his ringing phone. "Do you need a minute?" Rebecca asked nicely.

Colby smirked when he saw who it was. "Nope. It's Sarah."

Rebecca rolled her eyes and then looked down at now, her ringing phone. "Do you think they're together?" When Colby furrowed his eyebrows she held up her phone. "Because Luke is calling me."

Colby shrugged and rolled his eyes before sliding his phone across the bar, hearing it crash against the floor. "Colby?!" Rebecca said startled. "You just broke your phone..."

Colby shrugged again. "I need a new one anyways."

When Rebecca's phone kept ringing, she pushed her phone across the bar and over the edge, just like Colby did. "I have too many pictures of us together anyways. I'll just get a new phone too."

Colby smiled at her. "So, where do you work?"

Rebecca pressed her lips together. "I actually don't have a job right now. I had just gotten my degree when I came back two weeks ago..."

Colby smiled and nodded. "Oh yeah, seems like you mentioned that when we had met."

Rebecca nodded and took a sip of her beer. "Yeah. It's been rough. What about you?"

"I'm a dentist. I own a dentistry on Main Street."

Rebecca nodded and laughed. "No way! That's what my degree is!"

Colby smiled and shook his head. "Well if you need a job you're welcome to work for me."

Rebecca nodded as her and Colby finished of their beers. "Can you go another round?"

Rebecca smirked. "Can you?"

For the next hour the two traded stories and drank beer, getting lost in the world around them. They both needed to let loose and forget about the last two weeks, and this was the best option for that.

Mercedes looked over and patted Pam and Ashley's shoulder excitedly. ""Guys! Becks is leaving with him!"

Pam jumped up and watched as Colby and her walked out of the bar smiling. "Yes! She's getting laid!" Ashley yelled.

Jonathan looked over and heard her yell before watching Colby wrap his arm around her as they walked down the street. "Joe, look out the window."

Joseph looked over and shook his head. "It's about time."

Colby smiled as they walked down the street. Intertwining his hand through hers, Colby lead them to something that could make their lives worth waking up for.
