"Did you pack up the whole apartment?" The moving truck had dropped off Rebecca's stuff almost an hour later, and Colby had to move all of her boxes inside.

Rebecca rested her hands on her hips. "I didn't think I packed that much..."

Colby grunted as he pushed a big box in. "What's in this box? Fifteen bowling balls?"

Rebecca sighed. "Nah it's my clothes." She then bent down to help him but he pulled the box back. "I was going to help."

Colby shook his head. "You're pregnant woman. You're not getting these heavy boxes." He then motioned towards a few smaller boxes beside the door. "If you want to help get those smaller ones."

Rebecca nodded and walked over to grab them. She picked two of them up and carried them inside to sit them on the kitchen counter. She then started walking back into the hallway to grab another one, but froze when she noticed an envelope lying on the floor.

She furrowed her eyebrows and bent down to grab it. She stood back up to read it, but didn't see a name. "Colby is this yours?"

Colby stood up and took a deep breath. "Becks...when we ever move into a house, you're getting rid of some stuff." He then walked out into the hallway and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling the envelope out of her hand with the other. "Where did you find this?"

Rebecca leaned back into his touch and pointed towards the floor. "It didn't have a name on it so I thought it was yours."

Colby shook his head. "I don't think it's mine. I'll take it inside and see what it is." He rubbed his hand up her back gently guiding her back inside. He closed the door and walked over to the kitchen bar with the envelope in his hand.

Rebecca came up beside of him and rested her head on his shoulder—actually just the top of her head because she's a lot shorter than him—and watched him open it. They both furrowed their eyebrows as he pulled a letter out with Rebecca's name on it.

"It's for you." Colby said handing it to her.

Rebecca grabbed it and opened it up to read the letter. Colby didn't want to intrude, so he stepped back to open some of her boxes.

Rebecca froze as she read through the letter. She had a suspicion of who's hand writing it was, and when she got to the bottom of the page, her suspicions were right. She swallowed and crumbled up the paper, stuffing it in her pocket.

She then walked over to where Colby was standing and started helping with the boxes. "Who was it from?" He asked as he picked up her books.

Rebecca shook her head and rolled her eyes. "It was just a scammer." She picked up August's bed and moved it into their bedroom, trying to distract herself.

. . . . . . .

A few hours later the duo had finally emptied out all of her boxes, which meant Rebecca had been organizing her stuff in the places she felt like they belonged.
Colby helped move some of her furniture, of course, but he left her there at the apartment to organize her things, while he went and got her a key made.

August sat on their bed and watched as Rebecca moved books around on a bookshelf. She sighed and reached back to pull her hair into a messy bun. She had changed into a crop top and leggings after she got her clothes put up and organized.

She finally rearranged the books how she wanted and moved over to her nightstand to place a picture of her and Colby together from their first date.

She smiled as she ran her hand over it, and walked out of the bedroom towards the living room. She walked over and was going to sit down on the couch, until a loud crash outside of the door made her freeze.

August came running in there and started barking at the door, and Rebecca stood there with a hand to her chest trying to calm down. She took a deep breath and walked over to the door. "It's ok buddy..." She said passing by August.

She went to the door and looked through the peep-hole to see who it was, but she didn't see anyone there. She sighed and opens the door slightly, making sure she wasn't about to get attacked. She heard a man coughing, and furrowed her eyebrows.

She opened the door further and looked to her left to see a young man slouched over in the floor. Rebecca opened her mouth, but nothing came out as she stared at the man. She didn't want to leave him laying there—as he could possibly be dying—so she swallowed and slowly approached him. "Excuse me? Are you alright?"

The man looked up and Rebecca could tell he was drunk. He smiled and sat up to look at her. "Hi."

Rebecca pressed her lips together and looked around. "Is your apartment near?"

The man slowly nodded and burped. "At least I think so..."

Rebecca sighed. "Look I can't really help you to your room, but I can call security and see if they can help you?"

The man squinted his eyes. "You're really pretty." He then closed his eyes. "I didn't mean to lay down here...I may or may not have had a few drinks."

Rebecca put her hands on her hips and gave him a small smile. "I figured...since you crashed into my apartment door."

The man then furrowed his eyebrows. "Holy cow, you're Colby's chick aren't you?"

Rebecca looked around her again, suddenly worried this might be a trap. "Uhm...yeah. I moved in earlier this morning."

The man chuckled. "Ah, well it's nice to meet you. I'm Jeff."

Rebecca sighed. "Nice to meet you too...I'm Rebecca."

Jeff then squinted his eyebrows again. "Could you help me? Please, Rebecca?"

Rebecca hesitated. "I can't lift you, dude."

He then sighed. "Well if you can't lift me, I'm just gonna lay here until Colby gets back." He then chuckled. "I have a bone to pick with him anyways."
