Chapter 21

After a long week of working, Rebecca and Colby both wanted to relax and unwind, so Friday night dinner was all they needed to calm themselves down.

They both got dressed up—then of course, when Colby saw her, their clothes had to come off before they left. They enjoyed their dinner though, and enjoyed a nice stroll down the street before heading to Rebecca's apartment, where they then ended up tangled together on the couch.

This morning, Rebecca woke up when she heard her phone buzz. She rubbed her eyes and grabbed it to see who it was, only to realize it was Mercedes calling. "Hello?" She answered sleepily, trying not to wake up Colby.

Mercedes shuffled a bag across the phone. "Hey, I'm at the store right now getting games for us to play tonight, do you have anything in mind that we could use?"

Rebecca sighed. It's the third Saturday of the month...it's girls night tonight. Rebecca then gasped while Colby wrapped his arms around her tightly, smiling as he kissed her shoulder. "Uhm, yeah that sounds fun. I really don't have any games in mind, so whatever—" She then had to put her hand on the phone speaker to cover it up, because Colby slid his hand between her panties. "Uhm—it's whatever you want to do..."

Mercedes then chuckled. "Okay? Are you sure there isn't a game you want? I know how mad you get at monopoly." She said with a laugh.

Colby smirked as he continued teasing her. "Yeah I'm sure. Is there any food you want me to bake?" She then tried to push Colby's hand away as she looked at a clock. "I didn't realize it was almost 12, but I can still fix something before hand."

"Cookies and brownies sound good. Ashley and Pamela are out doing some kind of photography class, so they'll be back whenever they get done. I have to stop at the bank but I'll be back home around 3."

Rebecca nodded and stood up from the couch to get away from her smirking boyfriend. "Okay! I'll see you in a bit. Bye Mercedes."

"Bye!" She said. Rebecca then turned off her phone and turned around shaking her head at Colby.

He smiled and gazed up at her. "What? I was having fun."

Rebecca scoffed and bent down to pick up her pajama pants. "Yeah sure." After putting her pjs back on she walked over and kissed him. "You could have waited two minutes then you could've had all the fun you wanted..."

Colby smirked again. "Well I'm not going anywhere—"

Rebecca then kissed him again. "Actually you are...we have a girls night planned."

Colby groaned. "Seriously? I thought me and my soulmate were going to play "just dance" at my house."

Rebecca laughed as she walked to the kitchen. "Just dance huh? How about you just dance you're way out of here, and let me bake."

A few hours after sunset, the girls all came back to their apartment for their annual girls night. Mercedes of course got the games, Rebecca baked the cookies and brownies, and Ashley had set out drinks for them all.

They started playing monopoly, thanks to Pamela begging to play, and of course, Rebecca lost. Ashley then suggested playing charades. They all agreed and in no time the girls were laughing and having a good time.

Now they were sitting in a circle laughing while eating the cookies. "I'm so glad we started doing this..." Pamela said smiling at everyone.

Ashley grinned. "Me too! I know we all live together, but we never have time to do this since we all work." She then looked towards Rebecca with a smirk. "And because someone's boyfriend is always here."

Rebecca pressed her lips together in defense. "Ouch..."

The girls laughed then Mercedes gasped, her face lighting up. "Guys! I have another game for us to play!" She then pulled out a box of pregnancy tests.

Rebecca looked towards Pamela who furrowed her eyebrows as well. "With pregnancy tests? What kind of game is this?"

Mercedes laughed. "Okay, so I saw this thing that if you poured different liquids onto a test, that it could turn positive. So, I wanted us to try it!"

Ashley smirked and laughed. "Girl, this is the craziest idea you have ever had...I'm down."

Pamela looked towards Rebecca who was laughing. "So what kind of liquids do we pour on there, exactly?"

"That's the point of the game! We're going to go around the apartment and pour random liquids on them to see who can get a positive result first." She then chuckled. "You can pee on them too...who knows, Ashley may be carrying quadruplets."

The girls all laughed again, then Rebecca stood up. "Okay, I'm down." She then smirked. "Let's go extreme." She then grabbed her purse on the side of the couch and pulled out one hundred dollars and laid it on the table. "Whoever gets it to turn positive first gets the money."

Mercedes clapped her hands and did a little dance. "Okay! Let's go!"

The girls then grabbed themselves a bunch of tests and moved to different locations of the house to see what they could use on it. While Mercedes and Pamela went towards their rooms, Ashley went towards the kitchen, and Rebecca went towards her bathroom.

She tried different shampoo's first, then laid them down on the counter out of the way so she would know those tests had been used. When they popped up negative, she tried some skin products to see what they would do, but then it turned out negative. Do these even work? She then thought about peeing on one. It's a waste of time, but it would be funny to see.

Rebecca then grabbed one and peed on it. You're not pregnant, you're literally wasting time. Once she was done she stood back up, laid the test on the counter, and washed her hands. She then collected all of the negative tests to throw them away before turning back to the now—wait what?

Rebecca stopped breathing as she stared down at the positive pregnancy test. She clasped a shaking hand over her mouth and used the other one to pick up the test. Tears welded up in her eyes as she laid it back down. She then took a shaky deep breath and pushed her hair out of her face. Oh my god. What do I do?!

"Guys!" She called out frantically. She took a step back and shook her head, hoping it was all a dream.

Pamela came running in the bathroom first. "Did you get it?"

Mercedes and Ashley came in next with shocked expressions on their faces. "That's so unfair! You get to keep your money...." Mercedes said throwing a hand up.

Pamela then noticed Rebecca's face. "Becks, is everything okay?"

Ashley and Mercedes stopped, and all three girls watched their best friend turn around shaking, with tears in her eyes. "I'm pregnant..."
