Colby felt so much better after talking to not only one of his best friends, but someone who had been through the same thing as they were—an unplanned pregnancy. After talking to Joseph for about an hour, Colby decided to go to the store. He bought Rebecca some flowers and mint chocolate, then he headed back to their apartment.

Meanwhile, Rebecca was still laying down on her bed with August laying down beside of her—and Pamela joined them after a while. Mercedes and Ashley was still asleep, so Pamela was the one to comfort her.

"So you think he left because you told him?" Pam asked looking down at her friend.

Rebecca nodded and ruffled Augusts fur. "He just left. He didn't tell me where he was going or if he was coming back." She shook her head and sighed. "And to top it all off, I called the doctor and my appointment is tomorrow because they were backed up. So I can't even find out if it's actually happening or not until tomorrow."

Pamela nodded. "I guess you're not the only one dealing with a unexpected pregnancy..." Pam laughed, then when she saw Rebecca's face, she stopped. "Too much? I'm sorry..."

Rebecca shook her head. "I just wish he would answer me, that's all."

"Maybe he lost service? Or maybe he's trying to surprise you with something?" Pamela suggested. "He's gonna come back, Becks. He loves you too much just to leave. I really think you're just overthinking..."

Rebecca sighed. Technically, she was over thinking. She had a million thoughts going in and out of her brain and it was all overwhelming. She was also tired, because the two couldn't sleep after the news.

The doorbell rang and Rebecca squinted her eyes at Pamela. "Do you think we've summoned him?"

Rebecca sighed and stood up. "I guess we did..."

She walked towards the door and opened it up. She didn't know where Colby had been or what he was doing but she never expected him to be standing there smiling like an idiot, holding flowers and chocolate in his hands. "I got you flowers...and mint chocolate. I know its your favorite..."

Rebecca swallowed all of her remaining thoughts and smiled. "So that's where you've been? At the store?" She asked as he walked in. She shut the door and turned around. "Why didn't you answer any of my calls?"

Colby blinked and laid the chocolate down so he could grab his phone. "I didn't know you had called. I must have had it on silent because it never rang..."

Rebecca shook her head then looked at the flowers he was holding out towards her, and grabbed them appreciatively. "Thank you, Colby. This is sweet."

He smiled and opened the lid to the chocolates. "I absolutely hate mint chocolate, so enjoy this while you can."

Rebecca smiled and took one, biting into it. "So, where were you? You've been gone since eight this morning..."

Colby took a deep breath and moved to stand beside of her. "I went to Joseph's house." When she furrowed her eyebrows, he continued. "I needed some...time to think about all of this, and he's the only person I know that's been through this before."

Rebecca nodded and wrapped her hand around his arm. "Wait...you're telling me, the most confident man I've ever known, needed advice?" When Colby smirked she smiled and leaned up to kiss his cheek. "I'm glad you went, Colby. Even the most confident people in the world need advice sometimes..."

He looked down at her and nodded. "I just want to protect you...ya know?" He wrapped his arm around her back gently. "Make sure you're happy and healthy without being an overbearing partner."

Rebecca smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "And I'm sure you'll do amazing at that." She sighed and shook her head smiling. "We're soulmates remember?"

Colby smiled and leaned his head down to kiss her. "I'm glad you finally agree with me on that..."

Rebecca laughed as he spun her around. He kissed her again before setting her back on her feet. "Oh, yeah. Before I forget, my appointment is tomorrow. They were all booked today."

Colby nodded. "Okay. What are they gonna do? Like do a test or something..."

Rebecca shook her head. "They're going to do an ultrasound on me. Just to see if I'm actually pregnant or not. Pretty sure I am, but I want to make sure."

Colby nodded and rested his chin on top of her head. "I'm sorry for scaring you earlier."

Rebecca shrugged. "I'm over it now. Just hormones I guess." Colby laughed, making his chest bounce. Rebecca smiled and closed her eyes, and for once that day, she actually let a genuine smile break through.
