Rebecca walked slowly up the stairs, trying not to break down. She found the bathroom on the left and went inside shutting the door. She then looked in the mirror and rubbed her hand over her abdomen. She didn't have a bump yet, but just knowing their child was there gave her a sense of comfort.

She looked around the bathroom, stopping to appreciate all of the decorations Holly had. It may be an old home, but Rebecca could tell how much it means to his parents by how clean and beautiful they kept it.

She sighed and sat down on the toilet, staring at the wall in front of her. She knew they weren't happy, and she wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't allowed back in this home again.

Colby furrowed his eyebrows. "What do you mean? Of course she's gonna keep the baby mom—"

Holly put her hand up to stop him. "That's not what I'm meaning Colby! You said she..." She shook her head. "Are you not planning on keeping Rebecca in your life?"

Colby just stared at her. "Wait...you're wanting me to stay? I thought you would be mad and want me to leave..."

Holly scoffed. "Of course I'm mad Colby! But if you plan on leaving her over this, I will never forgive you..."

Colby leaned back in his chair. "I'm not leaving her mom. I love her more than anything."

Holly sighed and slowly nodded. "I'm glad you made the right decision. Because this isn't all her fault...it takes two to tango."

Colby pressed his lips together. "That's exactly what Pam said..." He muttered taking a deep breath.

Holly and his dad shared a look. "Look, we're not happy about this, but you know we've always wanted what's best for you." Holly sighed. "And Rebecca is what's best for you. She lights up a whole room when she's around...and I've never, ever, seen you so happy before. She's an amazing girl Colby, I just don't want you to get scared and walk out of her life to let her raise your baby alone. I know how you are..."

Colby nodded and smiled to himself. "That means a lot, mom. And to be honest, if this were a few months ago, yeah I would've left as soon as she told me. But she's changed me...for the better." He took a deep breath. "She's actually moving in with me tomorrow. I want to be there every step of the way, so we both decided that would be better than me visiting every single day."

Holly nodded. "Good. That's what you both need right now."

Colby then chuckled. "This went a lot better than I thought it would."

Holly scoffed. "Like I said, I'm not too happy. But you are an adult, and I know you never intended for this to happen, so I'm trying to keep calm."

Colby nodded and looked at his father, who swallowed a big gulp of wine. "Do you realize what kind of responsibility this is gonna take? You're not even engaged yet...what makes you think you can handle this?"

Colby sighed. "I know it's a lot dad, but we'll get through it. And just because we aren't engaged right now, doesn't mean we're never going to be."

His dad nodded and wiped his mouth with a napkin. He kept quiet for a moment."How far along is she?"

"She's at ten weeks. We've only been to one appointment so far." Colby said playing with his leftover food.

His parents nodded. "How is she?" Holly asked. "Is she healthy and everything? Any concerns?"

Colby shook his head. "She's doing real good, besides being stressed out. The doctor said she was healthy."

Holly nodded and pressed her lips together. "That's good to hear." She then looked up at the ceiling. "Go tell her to come back down here..."

Colby stood up from the table in relief and walked up the stairs. He wasn't for sure which bathroom she would be in, but he quickly found the door shut to one and the lights on, so he knew she was in there. He gave the door a gentle knock before opening it up.

Rebecca moved her eyes from the wall to Colby, as he walked inside. She stood up quickly, tears in her eyes, and walked closer to him. "What went down?"

Colby kissed her forehead and cradled her cheeks. "It went a lot better than what we thought."

Rebecca nodded and moved a hand up to rub one of Colby's. "Are they mad at me?"

He shook his head. "No, they were actually mad at me because they thought I wasn't going to have anything to do with you." He then smiled. "They're mad at the situation, but mom said us being together is the best thing to happen to me..."

Rebecca smiled. "Really? She likes me!"

Colby laughed and nodded. "Yes, Becks, she likes you." He then smiled and connected their lips. "She actually wants to talk to you..."

Rebecca nodded against his forehead. "Okay..."

Colby kissed her again and pulled back, wiping his hands down her arms. Rebecca followed him out with a relieved look on her face. She didn't know what to expect once they broke the news, but Holly being supportive was something she never dreamed of.

They walked back into the dinning room and stood across from his parents. "Rebecca, dear. We don't want you to think we're mad at you." Holly said. "This is, of course, a mistake, but it's not something you two can't handle."

Rebecca smiled and surprising herself—along with Colby—walked over to hug Holly. "Thank you Holly."

Holly smiled. "Of course honey."
