When Rebecca got back to the apartment, she unloaded the groceries, and had the front desk lady send them up on a cart to their apartment. As soon as the groceries were inside she locked the door and then went to the window to make sure Luke hadn't followed her there.

She had never been that freaked out by seeing him before. He had a different look in his eyes. Desperation maybe? Rebecca didn't know, but after what he did to her arm, she didn't want to get around him again and find out.

She made sure to close the curtains before she sat down and took a deep breath. Once she was calm enough, she went into the kitchen to unload the groceries before remembering her date with Colby. "Oh my god..."

She slapped her forehead and went to her phone to see what time it was. She then realized she had fifteen minutes until he would get there, so she quickly cleaned the counter tops off before making sure the living room was tidied up.

When she heard a knock on the door, she went up and checked through the peep hole, sighing a breath of relief that it wasn't Luke. She opened the door and smiled. "Hey, you."

Colby walked in and wrapped his arms around her smiling. "Hey." He then leaned down and connected their lips, shutting the door with his foot. "I missed you."

Rebecca chuckled. "You were gone for 8 hours..."

Colby then shook his head. "Exactly. That's the most we've ever spent apart since we started started seeing each other."

Rebecca laughed again as he smacked her butt, then he followed her into the kitchen. "I went to the store and picked up some stuff. I didn't know what you wanted to eat so I thought we could just cook together."

Colby then furrowed his eyebrows. "Yeah speaking of that, what happened today?" When Rebecca acted all confused he smirked. "Don't try and act like nothing happened. I can read you like a book, you were scared." He then went up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "What happened?"

Rebecca sighed and leaned her head back on his chest. "Luke..."

Colby took a deep breath. "Let me guess, wanted you back?"

Rebecca nodded. "Yeah. He said he still loved me, then he grabbed my arm and wouldn't let go, telling me about how much he loved and a bunch of bull crap."

"Wait, he did what?" He said stepping back.

Rebecca furrowed her eyebrows. "He grabbed my arm and told me a bunch of bull crap?"

Colby then tensed up. "Let me see your arm."

When Rebecca didn't move, Colby stepped forward and grabbed her arm gently, examining the red grip mark imprinted around her arm. "Rebecca, he left a mark on you."

Rebecca nodded. "Yeah. He had a really tight grip on me." When Colby looked like he was about to punch something, Rebecca placed her other hand on his chest. "I'm alright though."

Colby shook his head. "He had not right to touch you though." He then sighed and pulled her in for a hug. "He better be glad I wasn't there with you. I would've caused a scene." He then sighed and placed his head on hers. "Is that why you didn't answer the phone when I first called?"

"Yeah. That's when he gripped my arm harder, he saw your name pop up." She paused for a moment. "Guess he didn't think that I had moved on..."

"Well, next time I see him, I'm gonna let him know she found her soulmate. Me." Colby said making her laugh.

Rebecca then leaned her head back before leaning up and kissing him. "Let's forget about him ok? Let's make some food and enjoy our date."

Colby smirked and gave her a long dizzying kiss. "I don't even want food anymore. I just want you."

Rebecca laughed as he kissed her again. "Colby..." She said in between kisses. "You've been at work all day, and you haven't had a good meal."

"Food can wait." He then picked her up and placed her on the counter top, keeping his hands around her butt.
Rebecca moved her hands through his hair deepening the kiss, while keeping her legs wrapped around him.
When Rebecca heard his stomach growl, she laughed and pulled back. "Food can wait huh? For real, let's make food."

He connected their lips again then sighed against her mouth. "Fine..." He then stepped back reluctantly, before opening the fridge. "What about chicken parmesan?"

Rebecca nodded. "That sounds amazing."

After cooking the chicken, and having a few make out sessions while waiting, Colby and Rebecca sat on the couch watching a movie while eating. They didn't talk to each other till they were done, then they cuddled up and finished the rest of the movie, putting Luke, and the rest of the world behind them.
