In a week's span, Colby had managed to clean all of Sarah's belongings out of his house. The house felt somewhat lonely, but he would rather it feel lonely than to create memories with the wrong person.

He hasn't thought about Sarah since he left the hotel—and that's been a month ago—but he hasn't stopped thinking about Rebecca. He didn't know why, but every time he thought about what had happened, he thinks about how Rebecca is holding up. He now wishes he had gotten her phone number, but the two went their separate ways before he had the chance to ask her.

"Listen man, I know you're heartbroken and all, but you have been moping around all month." One of Colby best friends, Joseph, said. "Let's get out and do something man."

Colby sighed as he flipped through his tv channels. Joseph and another one of Colby's best friends, Jonathan, had come over a few days ago to help him deliver the last of Sarah's belongings back to her. "I don't know man. I'm enjoying this football game right now..."

Jonathan chuckled. "Yeah. We all know you're enjoying watching your bears get beat."

Colby rolled his eyes and rubbed a hand through his little yorkie's, Kevin, fur. "How long do you think she was cheating on you?" Jonathan said sitting on a chair in front of him.

Colby shrugged and watched as Kevin ran over to a window. "Honestly, I never suspected it..." Colby said looking over at Jonathan as Joseph entered the room. "I mean we had a few arguments before I found out, but I didn't think anything of it."

Joseph gave him a sympathetic smile. "Not to sound nosy, but what was the arguments about?"

Colby sighed and leaned back further on the couch. "We were just mad at each other. We had dinner at my moms and my mom pulled me aside telling me she didn't like her. Sarah overheard and got mad at me for not taking up for her."

Jonathan nodded and grabbed his beer bottle from the coffee table. "Well dang."

"Yeah. Apparently i was never on her side, so she was pretty mad at me." Colby then shrugged again. "But I don't care. She's not my problem anymore."

Joseph pressed his lips together. "That's one way to put it..."

The three then laughed and was going to finish watching the football game, until Colby's doorbell rang. "I've got it."

Colby stood up and walked to the door to see a brunette woman smiling up at him. "Hey."

"Hey Leighla..." Colby said opening the door further so she could come in. "Are you here for Kev?"

Leighla nodded and looked around the room. "Yep. We're going to go on a little hiking trip." Colby nodded and walked over to grab Kevin. Leighla's eyes scanned the room until they fell on Jonathan and Joseph. "Hi..."

Joseph smiled at her while Jonathan rolled his eyes standing up and going to the kitchen.  "How are you?" Joseph asked.

"I'm good." Colby brought Kevin in the living room and handed him to her. "Hi Kev!" She cooed.

"Let me know when you're going to drop him off again." Colby said putting his hands in his pockets.

"Okay." Leighla then scanned the room again. "Where's Sarah?" She asked annoyed.

"We broke up. I have no clue." Colby said sitting back down on the couch.

Leighla nodded. "Huh...just to let you know, i always had a bad feeling about her, so I'm glad she's gone." Leighla then bent down to put Kevin on his leash. "I hope you find someone that's good for you, Colby. You deserve it."

Colby looked up at her and nodded. "Thanks Leighla. Have fun on the trip."

"Oh I will. Bye!" Leighla said walking out the door.

Colby then sighed, "Yeah no." Joseph said standing up. "We're getting out of this house, and us three are going to go have some fun."

"Yes, please!" Jonathan said walking into the living room. "I'm bored man."

Colby shook his head and realized his friends had a point. He had been inside his house for way to long, and if he wanted to forget about Sarah, he knew he needed to have fun. "Alright. Let's go for drinks."

Jonathan smiled and patted Colby's  back as the three grabbed their belongings and headed out the door. About an hour later, the three pulled into the parking spot after blasting their music, singing, and talking throughout the car ride.

Colby looked at the car beside of him, thinking it looked familiar before stepping out of the car. The music from inside the bar ran through their ears as they walked inside.

"I see a whole line of chicks up there." Jonathan said walking towards the front.

Colby rolled his eyes laughing as him and Joseph followed him up to the bar. They sat down and ordered their drinks before Jonathan pointed towards a woman across the bar from them. "She's hot. I'm gonna talk to her."

Colby glanced toward the woman and almost spit out his drink when he saw who it was. "Jon!" Colby said grabbing his arm pulling him back down.

Joseph looked their way. "What are you two doing?!" He said.

Colby looked back over to the woman, "That's Rebecca..."

Jonathan and Joseph looked at her again before looking down at Colby. "Well dang."

Colby rolled his eyes and stood up. Although he couldn't see her anymore due to the people in the way, he started walking towards where he had spotted her.

Joseph furrowed his eyebrows confusion. "Where are you going?"

Colby turned around towards them. "I'll be back."

Colby then started walking backwards before turning around and running into someone. "I'm so-" Colby then stopped mid sentence as he looked down at the red haired woman in front of him. "Rebecca?"
