When Rebecca and Colby went into work the next morning, Rebecca didn't know what was about to go down. She hated to be a snitch, but she couldn't just not tell him what her coworkers were saying about her.

Colby had been in his office talking with Melody and Rosie for ten minutes now, and the more Rebecca watched waiting for them to come out, the more anxious she got.

"What happened yesterday?" Renee asked from the reception desk. She had missed yesterday because she wasn't feeling good, and now that she was back, she was curious to know why Colby was in a bad mood.

Rebecca sighed and moved to cross her arms over her chest, and rest them on the desk. "I got a death wish yesterday..."

Renee's eyes widened. "Who said that, Becks?"

"Melody and Rosie." Rebecca said shaking her head. "I was sweeping and overheard them talking bad about me."

Renee sat down in her chair. "They said more?"

Rebecca nodded. "They just don't like me...they said I'm annoying and that the only reason I got a job here was because of me having sex with Colby."

Renee's mouth dropped. "That's awful." She then looked towards the hallway where Colby's office is. "I hope he does something about it...no one, especially you, deserves to be talked about like that."

Rebecca sighed and looked down at Renee. "How are you feeling?"

Renee sighed and shook her head. "I'm doing okay. I've just been really nauseous lately. I wasn't like that in my first or second term, but I guess now that I'm in the third term it's finally got to me."

Rebecca nodded sympathetically. She then realized she would be going through similar symptoms, and grew tense. She thought about asking Renee how she felt through the whole process, but that would mean she would have to tell her she's pregnant too. "Did you have a lot of morning sickness?"

Renee furrowed her eyebrows. "I had it a few times but it wasn't that bad."

Rebecca nodded. "Have you all gotten the nursery ready?"

Renee's face lit up. "Yes! I have pictures if you want to see." She pulled out her phone then stopped. "Wait...did I tell you and Colby the gender? I've told so many people I don't know who I haven't told."

Rebecca tilted her head. "It's a girl right?"

Renee nodded and smiled. "Yes it is!" She then started scrolling through her phone to find the pictures. "Here's what it looks like."

Rebecca watched Renee scroll through the pictures, and Rebecca's heart warmed as she looked at all of the baby items. She smiled, "It's so cute! Did Jon help pick any of it out?"

Renee laughed. "Heck no. Not the decorations, but he helped picked out her toys. He saw that bear in Target and he wasn't leaving without it."

Rebecca smiled. "Awe, I figured you were the one to decorate it. At least he's trying to help though...for Jonathan that's really sweet."

Renee nodded. "Yeah...he may act stupid but he's the best husband."

Rebecca smiled but it dropped when they heard the door swing open. Renee stood and moved beside of Rebecca as they watched for Colby to walk by. Melody and Rosie walked behind Colby as he walked towards the reception desk. "Hello ladies." He said smiling at Renee and Rebecca.

Renee smiled. "Hey...is everything okay?"

Rebecca looked at Melody and Rosie and they looked away ashamed. "These two have been starting drama between our coworkers, and I'm sick of it. Ladies..." He said looking back towards them with a frown.

Rosie walked up first. "Colby overheard me and Melody talking about you, Rebecca. We're very sorry about what we said behind your back."

"We don't know if he told you what we said, but we didn't mean any of it. It was all a big misunderstanding." Melody said speaking up.

Colby glanced at Rebecca and she realized he didn't tell them she knew what was said. She smiled to herself before glancing at the girls. "Thank you for the apology. If you two want to say anything else about me, please just tell it to my face. We're not in high school..."

Renee nodded from beside of her. "You two are the only people in this office that's got a problem with her, and there's no reason for that. She earned her spot here along with the others. This is a dentist office, not the Grammys. Please stop with the nonsense."

Rosie and Melody looked at each other embarrassed. "We're very sorry. We shouldn't have acted that way." Rosie then smiled at Rebecca. "I want us all to get along so we can enjoy working together..."

Rebecca smiled. "I want the same thing."

Colby cleared his throat. "If I here of anything else like this, someone will be punished. Now, for my sake and all of our patients, let's put this behind us and be a happy little dental family."

They all laughed at the last part and went their separate ways to get prepared for their patients. Rebecca smiled as she walked down the hallway behind Colby, who stopped around a corner to turn around and wait for her. When she caught up to him he pulled her in for a short hug. "Thank you, Colby."

He smiled and stepped back. "It's no problem." He then pressed his lips to hers. "I want us all to be happy, especially you."
