I was sleeping and enjoying good dreams of days to come. Suddenly a felt a hand brush against my hair and the one voice I loved above all saying, "Happy birthday my Love it is time for you to wake."
I smiled and sat up. My long braid falling to my waist. I hugged him quickly. "Can you roll my braid into a bun for me Niklaus?" I asked as I turned my back to him. Narcissa and Bellatrix both insisted once I turned 5 that I could no longer leave the house or see non family members with my hair loose. It has been kept up in a braided bun or updo since as is proper of young pureblood witches. The fact my hair is so thick and long at my age tells them of my power and what is to come. Niklaus is the only non family member allowed to see it as he is my truest mate. I promised to keep the tradition at least till we left the wizarding world for the muggle world and besides by then I would be bonded to at least Niklaus.
He nodded and helped me quickly. Then left so I could dress. Once done I joined my family for breakfast and then we spent the day riding horses, painting and simply in each other's company.
After dinner they all gave me there gifts. Narcissa got me dresses and cloaks. Bella got me a dagger and hair pins and clips. Papa got me a never ending journal and a quill set with my mark as the stamp. Draco got me a new broom. Niklaus got me not only a dagger set but also got me a kitten. My second familiar. My favorite though had to be when Primal showed and Niklaus agreed to be de-aged. Though I asked him to wait till just after Christmas. I had plans.
The rest of the night was wonderful. Once in my chambers I summoned Primal, Death and Life. Because Niklaus was giving such a huge gift in growing with me I had a plan to give him something equal. I had him agree to have his brother Elijah come for Christmas.
I then set death and life to the task of helping me secure the safety and happiness of the rest of his siblings along with his own. Over the next couple months, I had Death help me destroy Mikael, Esther and Dahlia. Primal took all 3 souls so they could not come back. I had Death go through my memories and gather those that were the greatest danger and could be destroyed without consequences and destroyed them all with fiendfire. I then set about once finding Finn's coffin removing and healing his mind from Esther's influence. I also spelled him to dream good dreams and not be in pain. Then I tasked Death and Life with waking Freya and bringing her to us. I had her kept hidden. I then had them resurrect Henrick. He went to stay with Freya until the time was right. I also had Life find Sage. The last thing I did was have Primal take me to Mystic falls where we destroyed the bridge and sign. I would leave nothing that anyone thought they could use on my family. It didn't matter if it would be ineffective against them now that I altered the spell without them knowing. Now they all could only die with my and Death's approval.
DECEMBER 24,1993 BLACK MANOR SCOTLAND WYNTER'S POV:
I was so excited today was the day. All that work a Niklaus and his family were safe. Today Elijah would arrive. I had Kreacher holding Freya, Henrick and Sage in my small garden house.
