NOVEMBER 15, 2003. FORKS/ LA PUSH WOODS WYNTER'S POV:
Since meeting the Cullens and marking and blessing Jasper things have been good. He quickly got control of his wolf changes, all 3 of them, and he excelled at his magic. His strategical mind and his past as a Major made him and Niklaus fast friends. Luna enjoyed his empathetic abilities. Soon Rose, Esme and Emmett were going to take the mark and blessing. Carlisle wanted to wait. He wasn't sure what the Volturi would say. I tried to reassure him but he was cautious. Alice didn't know if she wanted it and Dominic would follow her lead. Edward, sigh, Edward is an ass. Plain and simple. A few hours ago we received a call about one of the Wolves finally shifting. I knew that meant it was Sam as he was the first. Nik and I were currently out in the woods looking for him. Apparently he had been missing for a few days. I smiled to Nik as I followed him. He would be able to help Sam shift back to human. We thought it would be easier, you know man to man kind of thing. I had made special bracelets so the wolves could shift and keep their clothes. That way they wouldn't go through so many. They would also help with handling their anger so no accidental shifts happened.

Nick took my hand as we ran and then he stopped seeing Sam. He quickly shifted into his own wolf.

Once shifted and approached Sam he forced a connection to Sam's wolf mind link. 'ฯCalm yourself Sam Uley. Your elders sent my mate and I to help you. I am Niklaus and this is Wynter.ฯ' Sam froze hearing him speak and nodded his massive head as he followed. Nik's gaze seeing Wynter walk up to them. She smiled and said, " We can help you shift back to human and then we can help with your duties." Together they helped Sam to shift back. Wynter conjured some clothes for him and then gave him the bracelet. They explained who and what they were and then took him to his elders. They began helping him with his patrolling. They even helped him during the days after he broke up with Leah. It hurt him and he didn't understand, until they explained he would have an imprint and it wouldn't do to wait. He didn't imprint on Leah and it would only hurt more if he put it off. They comforted him, and then when he did imprint they were there for him while he worked on getting to know Emily. They introduced Sam to Luna and Jasper. They also met Carlisle at the treaty line with the other Cullens. They explained how Rosalie, Esme and Emmett will be joining her treaty soon. He nodded. They eventually gave Sam Wynter's mark, and became true allies. Eventually Jared joined Sam and they went through the same process with Jared but made sure he knew they helped the pack but Sam was his Alpha. Days went by and routines were settled into.
