Chapter 149: Thanos is an asshole.

EARTH
WYNTER'S POV:

I spent almost a month arguing with Primal, but in the end it was let the snap happen or be put to sleep.
I gathered the Avengers and even the world leaders.
I told them what was coming. I told them i was forbidden to stop it. I was told I can and will give aid. That as long as they have faith in the Avengers we would in the end right this wrong and prevail.
The world leaders swore to keep this secret and to keep the faith.
The team...they were heart broken over what was to come.
They understood some of us would be lost for a time, but had faith we would bring them back.
Steve, Bucky and my mates and I all agreed. We would wait until this was all over. Then to celebrate we would hold our wedding and then complete the bonds.

The first day hit. They came to New York. We had already evacuated the area. I and my clan worked to minimize damage. Tony, Peter and Strange went to space.
We then met at the facility where, Steve, Nat, Jeremy, Sam and Clint escorted Wanda, Vision and Pietro in. They had been attacked for the stone.
We made our way as a team to Wakanda.
Shuri was going to try and remove the stone as quickly as possible from Vision. While she did this I went into Tony's mind to check on them. They were on Titan awaiting Thanos with the Guardians.
As I came out of it I looked around at all those I loved and cared for. I didn't want this pain for them.
I think Primal knew it too.
Next thing I know I hear them cry out as I collapse into Primal's arms. They gently caress my face and say, "I'm sorry my chosen you can not interfere. They must have this happen." They then handed me over to Nick. Nik held me close.
"When the snap is done and she awakens tell her I am sorry for forcing her to sleep, but it had to be done. She cares too much for you all and was going to interfere. It would have broken this universe. She will be safe dear ones do not fear. Her mates do not worry I have protected you. Even a temporary loss of you in this way would have destroyed many many universes completely with the power of her loss of control. Do not let her faith and love for all of you down. She would have risked my anger to save you all from a temporary loss and pain."

3rd POV:

They all now understood the power and control Wynter has to have. They all now understood the love and care she held for all of them. It steeled their resolve.
T'Challa offered the King's room for her to be placed in. They did so. All of her mates kissing her forehead before leaving the room. Once outside Nik sealed it completely with magic. She would be touched by nothing. Each mate added to the seal.

Soon they had to gather outside on the open fields. Thanos' people had arrived for Vision's stone.
The battle occurred as it was meant to.

Then came the snap......

As Thanos disappeared and people across the universe turned to ash and dust, those left standing on the Wakanda Battle field heard it then...
The absolute cry of agony.
Wynter appeared on the battlefield.
The blast of magic raged out of her harsh an angry blood red in color. Any and all of Thanos' remaining forces on the planet were destroyed by its mere touch.
Hearing their mate all of them, Steve and Bucky included hurried to her. Huddling around her distraught form comforting as best they could. Others gathered and knelt to her knowing she and the Avengers were their only hope of seeing their loved ones again.
