Chapter 13: The Time Between

WYNTER'S POV:

The rest of our first year flew bye. Elijah and Tom helped  George, while Nik and I helped Fred get caught up to where the rest of us were already education wise. By the end of first year they were at a 5th year level. By the time we came back for second year they were at mastery levels. One of the parts of Primal's blessing is that we have enhanced learning capabilities as will as eidetic memory. It also helped that the twins were intelligent and thrived under challenges.
Our first year the old goat kept trying to steer me away from my boys and towards the "right" path. He even tried to use my birth parents in that respect. Saying Sirius would want me to be something other then Slytherin and my mother wouldn't want me around such dark magic people. I politely told him that Sirius hasn't seen me since the day of my birth, nor ever spoken or written to me. That I knew exactly what my mother wanted of me because she was a Seer and had left me her memories, journal and letters. I then politely told him in the nice way to fuck off and die. I don't think he got the message.
The summer after first year we traveled some. We went to magical Greece, Japan and Norway. While traveling the boys got used to not only drinking blood on the go, but shifting. It is funny to see the nights we, kids, all run together. We are a pack of wolves (all the Mikaelson boys), a snow leopard, two foxes, a sleek black panther (Rebeccah) and then a jackal (Tom, which was a bit surprising). The rest of the family would join on occasion as well, the other Mikaelsons were wolves and Regulus was a Osprey while Bellatrix was a tiger. When Charlie joined us, for 3 weeks, He accepted all of us as his family and took my mark. Primal showed and blessed him as well. He turns into a dragon. A small horse size one normally but he can get bigger if needed. Of course this form surprised no one. The boy lives and breathes dragons. The summer was wonderful.

We returned for our second year and Charlie's 7th year. I maintained my throne. No one dared even think of challenging me. We were all ahead academically, even though Dumblesnore refused the teachers wanting to place us with higher years. So we took extra lessons. Some of us took Runes, Arithamancey, Magical theory and Alchemy. Others took Care of Magical Creatures, and Magical art and craftsmanship. I took all but Arithamancey. Nick took all of them with me.
The twins and Nik tried out for the house team. Their enhancements basically guaranteed them getting spots. The twins were beaters and Nik became a seeker. I think it was more about the speed and chase then anything else for him. They won us every game and the Quidditch house cup.
We also won the house cup the last two years. No one could keep up with the points we were all earning. I made sure Slytherin kept up with their studies, passing even all of Ravenclaw for grades with Elijah's help. I also made sure that we surpassed Hufflepuff in our assistance to the staff.
Filch absolutely adored us Slytherins. We gave him no trouble and some even helped. In return he turned a blind eye to anything we did. I made sure the twins didn't prank the poor man and even secretly started teaching him some magic he seemed to acquire suddenly out of no where. To say I am his favorite student is no lie. I even got him four house elves that aid him in his job. He mainly now just manages them.
Speaking of the twins pranks, Nik joined them. The terror the bring without being caught is wonderful to watch especially when it is turned on Dumbledore. He never knows who did them or how. Their best prank on him had him wearing a polka dot Afro and clown clothes. But he could never see it. It lasted a glorious week.
As for the teachers as Hogwarts heir I spent most of the year improving things. All classes got the proper supplies each teacher needed. I made sure Snape got a properly lit and ventilated room, with special sitting and tables that would help protect other students from spills and accidents. You know like explosions, yeah I'm looking at you Seamus. He also got triple his normal stores for supplies
Madam Hooch about cried over the new brooms for flying lessons. I made sure they came with safety charms, so the students couldn't fall off and hurt themselves, as well as she could take control of any fly aways and return them safely. *cough cough* Neville * cough cough*
For Minnie I made sure her classroom was a proper space. Her supplies top tier and she got her own comfortable throne. The woman is a damn queen and she deserves it. Though she pinched her lips at it a bit, I could see the smile in her eyes and she damn well didn't turn it down. I am pretty sure I even saw a tear glisten in her eye when she saw Queen Minnie inscribed into the arm rests on it.
For Professor Flitwick I made sure he had a proper podium to stand at instead of those books. I also gave him ceiling to floor book shelves.
Professor Sprout cried when she saw three new greenhouses, two house elves just for tending them and then the shipment of new plants, seeds and gardening supplies.
I also visited the castle house elves and improved their living areas and made sure they needed nothing. They also cried, but with my magic feeding them and the castle they were happy and healthy looking.
We ended our second year like the first none of us got anything other then O's. Since Charlie graduated this year I told him instead of going to Romania I had an offer for him. One of the properties I owned was the Pendragon Magical Reserve. It had not been in use in centuries. I wanted it to be back to its former glory. I told him I wanted him in charge of the whole thing.
I didn't even get to finish my offer before he shouted yes at me. It had everyone laughing. The twins on the ground from laughing so hard.
I took him to Gringotts and got him set up with the account manager. I told him I trusted him to hire who he thought was best. I took him to the island and showed him it. The elves had already repaired all the living quarters. I showed him the vault where some animals and even eggs were in stasis waiting. When he saw all the dragon eggs he said if I hadn't already had mates, one being his brother, he would marry me. I definitely walked away red after that.
I had also had Gringotts hire and list Bill Weasley as my personal curse breaker and ward master. It not only gave him a promotion but it made him happy. He got to work occasionally near his brothers and show pride in his craft. He was truly talented. It is why I gave him a mark, no blessing though. ( Can't give that to everyone lol. Mainly those with bonds and family get it. Besides I know he will want to be with Fleur.)
It was almost time our summer drawing to a close. Rebeccah, Henrick and Kol got their letters and we went to the alley. It was almost time for things to truly start. Once the new year started we would have four years to finish this. Then it would be time to leave.
