I awoke to the soft sounds of Nature that surrounded the Manor. Grinning to myself remembering it was my birthday I jumped from my bed and ran to my door. Opening it as best I could I ran to Niklaus' door and stopped. Trying to be silent I opened the door some and then tried tip toeing across the carpet. Once I reached the edge of the bed I struggled to climb on the end looking to him every once in a while to make sure he was still sleeping. Once on it I walked carefully towards him. Missing the smirk on his face as I watched my steps. Just as I was about to jump he sat up and grabbed me causing me to squeal and fall into a fit of giggles as he laid me down and began to tickle me.
Chuckling he smiled and said "Happy birthday my little kitten!"
I grinned, "Thank you Nik! I almost had you that time didn't I?"
His smirk said it all, that i in fact had come no where near any such thing but he still said, "Almost, you are getting closer to that day. Come go and get dressed and I will meet you downstairs with the others for breakfast love."
I quickly ran off to my room to get dressed.
ΩTIMESKIPΩ BLACK MANOR LATER THAT EVENING
I smiled. We had spent the day together playing and relaxing my family, papa Regulus, mama Bella, Niklaus, Kreacher, and even cousin Narcissa and Draco came.
We had just finished dinner and were now seated in the sitting room papa said it was time for gifts. Papa smiled and handed me a large box. Taking it I opened it and grinned. Inside was new potion supplies. I may look five and on occasion still be childlike but my mind was more around the age of 13-15 when it came to the things I enjoyed learning and practicing. I looked to papa and smiled, "Thank you papa!" (All gifts will be at the end)
He nodded and mama Bella stepped forward handing me a medium box that seemed to move some. I opened it slowly and gasped looking inside was a beautiful looking snake like creature. I looked to mama Bella.
"It is a baby royal shadow basilisk. Her eyes can't petrify till she is two years old, but the person I got her from said by then she will have bonded to you and will only do so on your command. They assured me so."
I nodded and reached into the box pulling the snakeling out. "§ Do you have a name yet?§"

The snake looked at me, "§A speaker? Yes, my parent named me Azul. Are you the one I was told would be mine?§"
I nodded to her, "§Yes I am yours and you are mine. Do you accept?§"
Azul slithered up my arm some then leaned to my wrist, "§I accept.§" She then bit it lightly cementing the bond between us before slithering up to rest around my shoulders.
Bella clapped happily," Oh! Your first familiar! I'm so glad!"
I smiled to her," Thank you Mama"
Cousin Narcissa came next giving me quite a few new dresses that would grow with me for the next couple years at least. Then cousin Draco gave me a plush dragon and a plush Kitsune. He said the dragon would keep me company when he couldn't.
