Chapter 147: S.H.I.E.L.D. Falls and Winter is Free

WYNTER'S POV:

While Sam, Steve and Nat dealt with Sitwell, Nik, Jordan and I prepared for the highway. We followed behind them along it spotting Bucky and Hydra attacking them. The three of us using magic where we could to protect the innocent.
Soon enough Bucky was walking towards Steve.

They began to fight.

I shadow traveled between the two to stop the fight. Doing so I locked eyes with the newly unmasked Bucky. He was our mate, I knew he was a truest the moment Steve locked eyes with him as well saying , "Bucky?"
Bucky confused replied,

Soon he was disappearing from the fight and Strike team showed. They immediately knocked me out hitting the back of my head. Not that it would keep me down long. They loaded us up in the van and drove off.
Nik and Jordan following. Narcissa sent help for the highway and Civilians. Quickly getting it cleaned up and any tended to. Compensation was given where needed as well.
Meanwhile I woke in the van and put the one guard to sleep as I broke the cuffs off everyone Maria pouted pulling her helmet off, "Man I wanted to kick the shit out of him."
I laughed at her, "Sorry maybe next time."
I then shadow traveled all of us to the SUV I sat in Steve's lap, as we had an extra person, and tried to comfort him.
"He's a mate isn't he?" He asked.
I nodded, "Yes. A truest like you. We will free and protect him Steve."

Soon we were with Fury. We explained how he had to "die" but I protected him. We explained that S.H.I.E.L.D. is Hydra now and we were taking them down. The Avengers would stand as a separate group. Camelot would help rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D. afterwards as support only for The Avengers.
I snapped my fingers and Steve's old uniform was in his hands.
It was time. Steve, Nik, and Sam would deal with the Carriers. Nat would go in undercover with the security council. Jordan and Maria would hold control. As for me my whole job was Bucky. I would capture him and take him to New York. My clan was ready.
When they got the signal they sent Narcissa to the President. Then they immediately began evacuating the civilians with a 50 mile radius of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Potomac river. They then got ready to help round up any Hydra trying to escape. We developed a spell that would reveal hydra agents to us. Then relief and clean-up would begin. The things I and mine do to keep the people from hating the Avengers.
The battle began. I closed my eyes searching for Bucky. Finding him on one of the carriers I shadow traveled to him. I did not give him the chance to react, I simply put him asleep and took us to New York.

Once in the tower and he was placed in bed. I sat beside him. I changed his clothes with a wave of my hand, then washed that ridiculous eye make-up off.
Then I settled near his head and placed my hands on either side. This would be a bit harder as he was asleep so no eye contact but it was safer for him. I dived into his mind finding all the mental programming that hydra had done. It took me hours to remove it and then work at healing any and all trauma as best as I could. I would not have him run. I worked another few hours on that. When done though exhausted I removed the metal arm. I then used magic to give him a new arm that was a mix of vibranium and adamantium. I also made it fully functional and incorporated into his nervous system. There wod be no need to replace it or even remove it. It was his arm fully a part of him as if he had been born with it. I'd like to see Rocket Steal it. I then made sure to mark and bless him. He was a wolf, a white dire wolf. No one could touch him legally now.

I sent for Tony. I knew the others would be returning soon. No one had been injured from our side. The fight was easily won.
When Tony arrived I sealed him in the rom I took him to. I told him the truth of his parents death. I then had him see everything from Bucky's point of view. I had him feel what they did and how he was controlled. By then end of two hours after comforting him he forgave Bucky without ever speaking to him. He told me he understood and would welcome him as a teammate and as my, mates and Steve's mate.

Finally the others arrived. Steve was worried I took him to Bucky and woke Bucky up. The rest of the night was spent with reassurances and welcomes. Our family was fuller for sure now.
Hydra had fallen. S.H.I.E.L.D. had fallen but would rise again. Though everyone demanded we change the name to the Knights. Things were calm for the night. We would begin taking down the rest of Hydra soon.
A week after all this Thor arrived.
It was time to begin.
