Part 4-Chapter 72: Beacon Hills

WYNTER'S POV:

We flew from Virginia to California. We decided to take a few days to have a mini vacation. We flew into San Diego and went to the San Diego Zoo. It was so big and gorgeous, I could see why it was so famous. Charlie would love all the different animals, but I'm sure he would have better ideas for their enclosures. While in San Diego we went to the beaches. Niklaus rented a sail boat for us. We all laughed when Saint Stefan pushed Damon into the water.
We left San Diego and went to Anaheim. Their we went to Disneyland. Caroline and I made everyone get mouse ears. We stayed and rode as many rides as possible and then watched the firework show.
After Disney we went to Beverly Hills. Care said she was not going to live in California and NOT spend two days shopping at least on Rodeo Drive. Everyone of the guys groaned when i agreed. We actually spent 3 days shopping. We then went to San Francisco. Where we rode the trolley and enjoyed the atmosphere, shopping, and food. We even managed to hit up an art festival. Nik and Jeremy went a little crazy there. Care joked with me about it being there Rodeo Drive since they insisted on going all 3 days. (FYI Wynter takes care of hers. Those she claims and siblings, family, and close friends all get their own accounts. Hey the Prison world thefts was well used.)

Finally though we made it to Beacon Hills. We drove through the town and then to the Reserve. Not far from the remnants of the Hale House, about 10 miles, was where our home had been built and warded. It was built to look like a beautiful French chateau. We were close enough to town yet far enough away.
