Once the welcome feast was done the Prefects lead us to the dungeon so we may go to our dorms. Upon entering we see a lot of the older students sitting around. I even spot the current Slytherin King on his throne. I smirk about that a moment before turning to our Prefects.

" Professor Snape is head of Slytherin House and he has a few words for you." The male prefect says.

"Welcome to Slytherin house. Here you will find your home and family for the next 7 years. There are only a few rules. 1. All Slytherins present a untied front and loyalty to one another outside of this dorm. There is enough hate towards our house that we will not show such to each other outside these walls. 2. If you are going to break rules don't get caught. 3. We do a yearly health check at the beginning of the year. The prefects will inform you of your slotted time for your check. 4. We do not tolerate low grades. I expect a grade of E or higher. If you are struggling find another student to help you or ask your Professor. 5. No killing one another in fights or duels here in the common room. Those are all of my rules. Now my office is always open to my snakes. Come see me if you need something." With that he turned and left.
The female prefect then spoke, "Here in Slytherin the girls dorm is to the right and the boys to the left. You will have your own rooms. No means No. Do not let us find out you thought otherwise."
