Chapter 37: What's Wrong

Valencia's pov

I go into my dorm seeing Larissa sitting on my couch. I'm not even going to ask her how she got in. "What's wrong?" I notice her tear stained face. "Encia, I'm so scared to tell him. What if he thinks I'm lying?" I sit next to her, sighing she rests her head on my shoulder.

"If he can't accept it then fuck him but I know him. I doubt that he would do that to you."

"Yeah because he's just going to drop his playboy act for us"

"He loves you Larissa, he's liked you for a long time. You just haven't seen him that way and with you avoiding him it doesn't make it better."

"Can you be there when I tell him?"

"Of course I will be"

"I just want to get it over with"

"Come on" I grab her hand as she follows behind me. I knock on his door and he doesn't respond. I knock again harder until the door swings open. "Valencia I'm trying to finish an essay" I just push past him going inside he groans all his papers on the table.

"What you aren't avoiding me anymore?" Vadik says looking at Larissa she just puts her head down, her arms crossing over her stomach.

"Vadik shut up and just let her talk fuck she has a reason" He leans on the side of the counter motioning her to continue on. Larissa lets go a deep breath looking at him.

"Vadik I'm 4 ½ months pregnant" His face pales and he stays frozen in the same spot. Larissa has tears streaming down her face. She just shakes her head going to leave the room. He grabs her hand pulling her back to his chest before kissing her.

In my head I'm screaming finally but for now I just keep a smile on my face. I slowly walk out of his dorm, shutting the door lightly. She deserves to be happy. Yes, they were happy during the summer but after she found out she was scared. She just kept avoiding him and eventually they broke up. "You look like you're up to no good petal" Silas says leaning on his door frame.

"I solely swear I am up to no good" He smiles letting me go inside his room.

"I was finishing The Prisoner of Azkaban. Do you want to watch the rest with me?" Following him into his room we lay down watching the movie. He moves me closer to him, his arm holding me close to his chest. Longer into the movie I feel myself drifting off hugging the pillow tighter.

I don't think I've slept that well in a long time. I try to sit up but an arm brings me back down. My eyes widened. I look to my side seeing Silas sleeping holding my waist. Fuck we must have fell asleep watching the movie. "Stop moving petal" He groans. I turn my body and he buries his face in my neck pulling me even closer.

A small smile comes to my face seeing him so peaceful. My nails go in circles around his back. I see him becoming even more relaxed. His brown hair grew a little longer and a little bit of stubble on his face. He looks good now he always did but now he looks older, and a lot more like his age.

"Petal go back to sleep," Silas says, squinting his eyes looking at me. "I'm not tired anymore, i'll be fine" He sits up rubbing his eyes. "No Silas go back to sleep you're tired" He shakes his head no.

"Your not though"

"Fine fine i'll try to fall asleep again" I go back into his arms burying my face in his neck. I feel his body get more relaxed telling me that he's sleeping again. My arms go tighter around him. I feel his sleepiness rubbing off on me.

My eyes start getting droopy, my heart starts jumping for joy now that I'm here with Silas. Gosh the universe better not be wrong about this.
