Draco admitted he liked the girl. (Y/N) was very sarcastic, funny, and generally nice to hang out with. He didn't say that to her face, obviously, but he was planning to tell her how he felt.

It was their fifth lesson, and he couldn't wait. He came around fifteen minutes before seven, wanting to steal some extra time with her. When she came, she looked surprised.

"Early, are we?"

"Of course. Take a seat, m'lady."

Her eyes narrowed. Draco winked at her. She blushed.

"What's gotten you so hyped today?" She laughed at her own lame joke as she sat down, opening her book.

"You," he replied.

"What 'me'?" (Y/N) glanced at him. "Excited to learn?"

He forced the words out as calmly as he could. "I like you."

She pursed her lips, like he was being stupid. "I like you too."

Draco swallowed. "I mean, I like you."

She frowned. "Um, I— oh."

"Yeah."

She shifted, uncomfortable. "Look, Draco, I'm not that much of an expert in... areas surrounding the topic of love."

"Neither am I."

"So you have to explain to me what 'like' exactly means."

He smiled, embarrassed. "It means someone is attracted to you."

"You're attracted to me?" She gestured to herself. "To a nerd?"

"You're not a nerd."

"I basically am."

"I still like you."

(Y/N) faced him. "The Draco Malfoy likes me?"

He cupped her face with one hand. "May I kiss you?"

She reddened, but responded with a nod.

It was the best tutoring lesson of all time.
