"Lazy Sunday!" Beomgyu exclaimed, excitedly as he threw his bag into the boot of Yeonjun's car. The others watched as he flapped around his towel, almost hitting Taehyun in the face.

"It's literally Thursday." Taehyun scowled at Beomgyu, who thankfully stopped attacking the air with his towel.

Beomgyu calmed down, staring at Taehyun for a few seconds before a smile slowly crept on his face and he yelled, "Lazy Sunday!" right in Taehyun's face. The latter only huffed and went to stand by Huening Kai who was snickering at the entire exchange.

"He's so... loud." Sumin commented, where she stood with Miyoung and Sora.

Miyoung chuckled but Sora didn't hesitate to start bad mouthing her brother. "I know right. He's so annoying." The girl rolled her eyes, but still smiled as her eyes fixated on the drinks she was packing in a cooler bag.

"She's lying, Sumin. She knows she loves him. He's a good kid. You'd love him once you get to know him more." Yeseul suddenly spoke as she exited the house.

The group of now nine were all heading to the beach for the day. It was spontaneous but they figured since Sumin was in town until Sunday, they'd make the most of her stay.

"Do you guys need any help?" Kai asked as he approached them with Taehyun right behind.

"Hmm..." Yeseul thought for moment, but Sora had already beat her to it.

"Can you come help me get the other containers from inside?" Kai nodded. "You're a sweetheart." The two went inside.

Now with only Yeseul, Miyoung, Sumin and Taehyun behind, it was suddenly awkward. Unlike the rest, Yeseul didn't personally introduce Taehyun to Sumin, so she hasn't quite spoken to him yet. She found it rather strange too, since Yeseul had such enthusiasm introducing all of her other friends.

Miyoung carefully flickered her eyes between Yeseul and Taehyun. Both avoided all eye contact and it was painfully obvious that they're ignoring each other.

"Uhm..." Yeseul started. "Sumin, let's go find Yeonjun. He's taking forever to get ready again."

Sumin obviously agreed, since it was a great excuse to get away from the awkwardness but also because Yeseul was the only one she was close to.

Once the two were out of sight, Miyoung saw Taehyun quickly exhale. "What's up?" She asked, acting oblivious.

Taehyun, however, only shook his head. "Nothing, don't worry about it. I actually wanted to ask you—" Just then Soobin pulled up in front of their house and Miyoung's full attention was now shifted to him. Taehyun's face dropped as he noticed that she was no longer listening to him. "Never mind." He muttered.

"Hey, guys." Soobin greeted. Beomgyu yelled something back to him and Soobin only chuckled before walking right to Miyoung. "Hi, Mimi." He smiled.

She obviously returned it. It's always been a problem for her. It was simply just impossible to not smile back at Choi Soobin. "Hi. You excited for today?" She asked.

"Of course. I haven't been to the beach in a while."

"Really?" Miyoung's eyebrows rose in shock.

Soobin nodded. "There's no beaches near uni, so..." He rubbed his neck, nervously. "You, uh— You look pretty." He spoke again and Miyoung immediately turned red.

"Thank you." Miyoung smiled.

Taehyun stood there, annoyed as the two fell into their own conversation. Wait, wasn't he supposed to be glad? So, why was he so upset that Miyoung ignored him? It's probably just a normal feeling when third-wheeling.

He then scurried away from them. They probably won't even notice he was gone. Not that Soobin even noticed him there in the first place. And Miyoung always only saw Soobin anyway. Taehyun huffed in annoyance again. This is a very uncomfortable feeling.

"What's got you so upset?" Beomgyu teased as Taehyun leaned against the car door next to the older.

"Nothing." He mumbled.

Beomgyu chuckled. "If you say so, Tyun. So, it looks like things are going well over there." He jutted his chin toward the other's direction. Miyoung was laughing at something Soobin said.

"He's not even funny." Taehyun mumbled under his breath. Beomgyu looked over at him and asked what he said. "Nothing. Yeah, it seems like they're hitting it off."

"I know you probably don't think much of it, but Miyoung's definitely grateful that you helped her out. Or else she would've still been too shy to approach him."

"Right." Taehyun answered, that same expression still on his face. Beomgyu picked up on his strange mood, but didn't comment.

"Oh, Yeonjun's finally here. Let's go get the last of the stuff." Beomgyu pushed off the car and went to the rest of their friends.

Taehyun was going to follow, but before that he glanced in Miyoung's direction again. Soobin was right. She did look pretty.

 She did look pretty
