"So, I have like a girlfriend now."

"We know." Sora answered.

Yeseul spun towards the younger, plopping down right next to her. Sora looked up from her phone and to her giddy friend. "No, but like... I have a girlfriend now. I am dating the love of my life, Sora. Do you even get how awesome that is?"

A fond smile adorned Sora's face. "Yes, that is awesome. I'm happy for you, girly pop. Like really happy."

Yeseul sighed contently, reaching for Sora's hand. She held it in her own for a second, just taking in the moment. "You're my best friend. You know that, right?"

"And you're mine." Sora giggled. "What's going on?"

"Nothing. I just want everyone to know that I love them so much." Sora nodded. "But not as much as I love Sumin, though."

"Yeah, we know. You love your girlfriend very much."

The older nodded, stifling a laugh. Sora felt so appreciative of this Yeseul, because it's been quite a while since she's seen the older genuinely happy.

"Yeseul has a girlfriend, blah blah, yada yada. But y'all know who doesn't have a girlfriend?" Beomgyu suddenly joined the conversation.

"You?" Sora raised an eyebrow.

"Yes!" Beomgyu groaned as he plopped down right in between his sister and Yeseul.

The two girls shared a glance over Beomgyu's sulking figure. "I thought you liked that girl? Why don't you ask her out?" Yeseul questioned.

Beomgyu pouted, sinking even deeper into his seat. "She doesn't like me back though..."

"Oh, that sucks..." Sora patted the boy's head, knowing the gesture usually makes him feel better.

"But that's okay, I guess." Beomgyu brightened up. "Turns out we're going to the same university which means more time for me to make her fall in love with me."

A triumphant smile spread on his lips, once again making Sora and Yeseul glance at each other but this time in concern. "Uh— Your enthusiasm is greatly appreciated, champ." Yeseul awkwardly patted his shoulder.

"Thank you." Beomgyu's grin widened. "I was just kidding by the way. I refuse to force myself onto anyone. If she likes me, then she likes me. If she doesn't, then she doesn't. But that doesn't mean we can't be friends, right?"

"Very right, actually." Sora matched his smile.

Before their conversation could continue, a loud squeal sounded from the kitchen. "Oh my God!" Huening Kai exclaimed as he came rushing into the living room. Of course, it was him that was being so damn loud.

"Wait, Kai, no—" Taehyun ran out, hot on the other's trail. He paused however when he saw everyone's concerned gazes on the two of them.

"What's going on?" Yeseul asked for all of them.

Huening Kai and Taehyun made eye contact for a split second, Taehyun's eyes were practically pleading for Kai to not say anything. The younger ignored him though and turned back to everyone with a mischievous grin playing on his lips.

"I just received some very interesting news." The youngest started off.

"Oh? Spill then, baby." Yeseul urged him on.

Kai had opened his mouth, about to tell them but Yeonjun and Soobin entered the room at that moment. The two eldest boys froze when the attention was on them instead. "Uh, hello?" Soobin spoke first as Yeonjun awkwardly shuffled away from their eyes.
