The day was cool as a refreshing breeze blew all around town. Summer rarely had nice days like these, but when it did they all appreciated the break from the scorching heat.

However, ever since Yeseul had made up with Taehyun, she seemed much more cheerful; happier.

So, that morning when she woke up with the weather looking great, she was craving chocolate chip cookies. And that's when she decided that she would bake them that day. It was also the perfect opportunity for her to drag Soobin along as well, because she knew the boy enjoyed baking just as much. And also, because the boy was the only other person in their friend group that was her age.

The two now walked side by side down main street in town, on their way to get all their baking ingredients.

Yeseul glanced at the boy, who walked besides her. He seemed quite distracted and it made Yeseul wonder what's on his mind. Usually, the two had conversations without much struggle which made it even more evident that Soobin's head wasn't here.

"Hey, Soobs." Yeseul called out, catching the tall boy's attention.

"Hmm?" Soobin answered back and Yeseul only chuckled.

"Why so quiet?"

Soobin seemed confused by the question, glancing at the girl. "I'm not quiet? Wait, did I zone out again?"

Yeseul laughed. "Yeah, you did. You haven't said anything in the last five minutes."

"Oh, my bad. Sorry, Yeseul." He offered her a crooked smile. But it didn't last long as he quickly became distracted again.

Yeseul wondered what was going on since Soobin definitely wasn't being himself. What the hell was he thinking about? Or maybe, who was he thinking about? The latter theory excited her a bit. The possibility of Soobin having someone he's interested in right now? And especially considering that she's well aware of Miyoung, Taehyun and Beomgyu's plan too? This seemed like the perfect way of contributing to their scheme.

Yeseul pondered on it for a moment. How should she go about this? Would she just flat out ask? No, that wouldn't be smart, he'd just deny it. But then an idea popped into her head.

"Hey, I was thinking that since we're in town, we'd stop by that place that makes those awesome fish cakes. What do you think? You in the mood for some fish cakes?" She playfully nudged his arm, awaiting his answer.

Soobin didn't answer for a brief second, but then flickered his eyes to her then. "Oh, yeah. That sounds good."

Yeseul huffed. Just as she expected. Immediately, she halted in her tracks, Soobin only noticing when he was a few steps ahead. "Huh? Why'd you stop?" He confusedly questioned.

Yeseul stepped closer, an eyebrow raised. "Soobs, you don't like fish cakes." She deadpanned.

"A-ah..." He sheepishly scratched the back of his head. "Maybe I'm a changed man now? You have been gone for a while."

"Alright, if you say so." Yeseul shrugged, falling into step with him again. "So, while we're there we can get some spicy noodles too? You know, since your taste buds have changed so much over the past year."

The look on Soobin's face almost made her laugh. He stared at her in pure horror at the thought of fish cakes and spicy noodles. Yeseul chuckled. He was too easy.

"Okay, out with it. What's her name?"

"W-what? Who are you talking about?" Soobin's cheeks flushed, but then suddenly frowned.
