Miyoung woke up, her head still hazy from sleeping. She blinked her eyes a few times as she tried to adjust to the darkness. It took her a few seconds to realize where she was.
Right, they were all sleeping at Soobin's house.
Yet as that confusion was now solved, something still felt strange. Like there's something she isn't quite aware of yet.
That was until she felt the weight on her waist. Her eyes flickered down and she found that someone's arm was draped around her. Perplexed as ever, her eyes then shifted over to the person holding onto her.
Taehyun?
Miyoung blushed when she noticed that she wasn't even using a pillow. Her head instead laid on his bicep as his other arm was underneath her to help support her head.
She had no idea how they even ended up like this. To be honest, she couldn't really remember how she even fell asleep as they were still up late playing games and talking.
She supposed she probably should move because she did not want to explain to anyone why they were sleeping like that and wanted to avoid any awkwardness between Taehyun and her. But also, she really didn't need Soobin seeing her sleeping with another guy.
Though she had to admit, she was quite comfortable like this and moving was actually the last thing she wanted to do at that moment.
So, she decided to stay like that for a few minutes more. It wouldn't hurt anyone, right?
Since she was facing Taehyun, she had no choice but to stare at his face. Her mind raced as she took in his features. He really was beautiful, she finally admitted to herself. There was this sudden feeling in her chest as she continued looking at him. She was so close to him it made her heart race.
Gulping in an attempt to calm her heart down, she decided that maybe it was better if she just immediately moved away. That was the plan until Taehyun stirred in his sleep and she quickly closed her eyes again as she noticed his slowly opening.
Shoot! What if he felt her staring like a creep? She was internally panicking now whilst pretending to still be asleep.
"I know you're awake." He croaked out.
Miyoung screw her eyes shut even tighter. His voice sounded so nice, what the hell.
"You move around so freaking much." He spoke again.
"Sorry..." She finally whispered back and swiftly turned on her other side without ever opening her eyes.
It was quiet after that and Miyoung thought Taehyun had gone back to sleep but then she heard shuffling from his side.
Miyoung wondered what time it even was because with the way she feels right now, she didn't know if she'd be able to fall asleep again.
Then, out of absolutely nowhere, her stomach rumbled. Wonderful timing, she thought. Now that she thinks about it, she really hadn't eaten much the previous night.
It took five more minutes and constant rumbling for her to finally muster up the courage to turn back around. Taehyun had his head propped up on his arm as he stared up at the ceiling.
Once, he noticed her facing him again, he flickered his eyes down to her. "Taehyun, I'm hungry." She whispered to him.
Taehyun chuckled quietly to himself. "And what exactly do you want me to do about that?" He retorted.
Miyoung clicked her tongue, "Nevermind then." She was about turn away from him again but Taehyun quickly reached for her arm and held her back.
"Put on your shoes. I was craving ramen, anyways."
