"Oh, that was my favourite one." Miyoung said as she climbed up the jungle gym.
Taehyun watched as she stood ontop of the frame, arms stretched out like she was ontop of the world. "You know that one, Tyun?" She asked him. The boy shook his head, and Miyoung gasped loudly. "No way! I'm just like you, you're just like me~" She started singing the song and doing silly moves that probably don't match the song at all. "You don't know that one?" Miyoung tried once more.
Taehyun chuckled from where he was sat on the swings right beside the wooden contraption. "No, I do not."
"Urgh, Tae. You always seem to find ways to offend me." Miyoung sighed dramatically, plopping down on the wooden surface of the jungle gym.
"I'm sorry then. Maybe we should watch it together one time." Miyoung perked up at his suggestion, a mischievous grin on her face.
"Really?"
Taehyun nodded. "Of course. If it's your favourite then I definitely need to watch it. For educational purposes, of course."
This made Miyoung laugh heartily and Taehyun smiled at the sight. Making her laugh warmed his heart so much. There was definitely no denying his feelings anymore.
"I think you'd really like it. Oh, and maybe we could watch my second favourite one too." Miyoung suddenly added, tapping her chin in contemplation.
"What's that one then?" Taehyun asked.
"The 12 Dancing Princesses, of course."
"I thought that was your favourite?" He looked confused now and truthfully adorable with the little frown between his eyebrows.
Miyoung crossed her arms, stifling her laughter. "My favourite is The Princess and the Pauper, silly. Keep up." Taehyun raised his arms in surrender, apologizing profusely for his mistake. "You are forgiven, but just for that we are watching the Island Princess too."
Taehyun rolled his eyes. "Fine. I guess it wouldn't be that bad to spend even more time with you." He retorted, acting nonchalant but knowing well that inside he was ecstatic at the thought.
"Oh, don't act like that now. You'll like Barbie very much. I'll make sure of it."
"If you say so. I'm just surprised you didn't drag Soobin to watch it with you instead." Taehyun absent-mindedly noted.
Miyoung briefly halted when he said that. She never seems to think about Soobin when she's with Taehyun. But of course he would bring Soobin up. It is after all the whole reason they still meet up. Or at least she thinks so?
"Ah, right. Maybe I should ask him then..." She trailed off.
Taehyun's face fell slightly before covering the disappointment up with a small smile. "Hey, don't go ditching me already. I volunteered first."
"You're right." Miyoung laughed. "I would hate to ignore your sacrifice like that."
He nodded in agreement before a brief silence fell upon them. It felt extremely comfortable however, because to Miyoung the boy always had this warmth radiating off him that always seemed to make her feel better.
When she's in his presence, all her worries and fears seem to disappear into thin air. She really appreciated him more and more with each passing day.
"Hey, Tyun. I've been thinking..." She started off, catching the boy's attention almost instantly. "Since it's August now... and summer is ending in a few weeks... Maybe I should talk to my parents soon. Y'know, about finishing school here." She dared a brief glance in his direction.
