"No, but hear me out." Yeseul started off. "Taemin is one fine ass man."
Miyoung chuckled at the older and watched as Beomgyu raised a brow in question. "I thought you were a lesbian?"
"I am. But Taemin is the exception." Yeseul shrugged. "I mean look at him!" The older pointed to the Taemin music video they were currently watching on Kai's huge TV.
"Damn, I gotta agree with you, bae." Beomgyu answered, eyes glued to the screen as the scene with Taemin wearing a cropped hoodie popped up.
"Exactly."
Miyoung rolled her eyes. Of course, she agreed though. Taemin was an icon. But all this fangirling had made her thirsty, so she got up to the kitchen.
When she neared the entrance of the room, however, she heard two voices talking inside. She halted as she overheard their conversation.
"You must like her a lot, huh?" Yeonjun teased.
"Maybe... I don't know. She's just really cute." Miyoung heard Soobin chuckle.
Huh? He likes someone?
Miyoung leaned against the wall in the hallway, processing the new information. If he likes someone, is that not a good thing? It means there's a slight chance it could be her. Right?
Immediately, Miyoung shook her head to rid herself of those thoughts. Don't get too ahead of yourself, Choi Miyoung. Having no expectations, means having no chance to be left disappointed. Plus, would it even be that bad if he didn't feel that way about her?
"Let's head in. They're probably starting the first game soon."
Shit, Miyoung panicked. They can't catch her here or else they'd know she was eavesdropping on them. She hurriedly went back the same way, hoping she'd be able to make a safe escape before either of them could see her. But of course the universe wouldn't make it that easy for her as she failed to notice a hyperactive Kai skipping down the stairs and in her rush, Kai's bigger frame bumped into her sending the brunette right into the floor.
She heard Kai let out a loud gasp, making everyone glance their way as Miyoung laid on the floor, her eyes tightly shut. "Mimi! I'm so sorry! I didn't see you!"
Miyoung continued lying there though as she knew that her face was on fire from the embarrassment. "Are you okay?" An all too familiar voice spoke. The girl slowly opened her eyes to see Soobin peering down at her, his head right above her eyeline.
"Uh, yeah!" She jumped to her feet. "I'm all good. And don't be sorry, Kai. It was my fault." She didn't even spare any of them another glance and immediately went to take a seat right next to Taehyun, who had been silently watching the whole ordeal take place. The boy glanced at her but instead her eyes were glaring at Yeseul and Beomgyu, who were snickering on the opposite couch. He didn't expect her to suddenly plop her head onto his shoulder, hiding her red face in the crook of his neck. "I'm so embarrassed."
Taehyun barely heard her though as his mind was merely focused on her hot breath in his neck and he prayed she couldn't hear his thundering heartbeat.
Luckily, the doorbell rang and everyone's attention instantly diverted. "Sora!" Kai exclaimed when he opened the door. The older slightly flinched but greeted him with an equally wide grin.
"Hi!" She stepped inside, seeing everyone already waiting for her. "Sorry for being late. But I brought snacks." She held up a big bag and immediately Kai grabbed it.
"Nice! Thanks, Sora!" He ran off with the bag and sat it down on the table.
Sora watched him with fondness, smiling to herself when he excitedly started unpacking the snacks. As her eyes slowly flickered to the others in the room, she accidentally met Yeonjun's eyes. The latter smiled at her and Sora couldn't help but blush and look away.
