The quantum tunnel was destroyed. The Stones are stuck in the present.
Tony got up and saw the gauntlet near him. He also saw Thanos running towards it, so Tony tackled him away.
Thanos punched Tony away before Thor attacked him with both Mjölnir and Stormbreaker.
Thor threw Mjölnir at Thanos and tried to grab the gauntlet, but Thanos pulled him away from it.
Thor swung Stormbreaker at Thanos, but he catches it by the handle as Thor called for Mjölnir and used it to push Stormbreaker towards Thanos's head, who was now holding both weapons back.

Steve jumped on Thanos's back and pulled the axe and hammer, helping Thor.
But Thanos kicked Thor away and pulled Steve off and knocked him out before grabbing the gauntlet and trying to put it on, only to be stopped by Carol, who began landing punch after punch at him.
He grabbed one of her arm and threw her away before putting the gauntlet on his right hand, immediately feeling the surge of energy from the Infinity Stones.

He went to snap his fingers, but Carol grabs his gauntleted hand and holds it open.
