Y/n's pov
As im helping my nephews hunt i hear thorin yelling at someone "it is my birthright to be king" he shouts and the three of us stop "i thought you are the oldest auntie" kili asks and i nod "i am ki my brother is just in a mood like always not to mention if my father or grandfather were alive they'd crown him first" i say and he nods continuing to hunt until we have enough for dinner "bombur here we managed to get a deer" fili says carrying it to bombur "thanks laddie" he says beginning to prep the meat "that throne is my birthright hobbit if you don't want to help leave" thorin shouts at bilbo who looks completely shocked "Thorin" i roar over the chatter of the company and he looks at me with a glare "apologise to bilbo now" i say and he scoffs "now or i will turn this company around and that mountain will stay in smaugs control, i am the queen under the mountain, you will not be king until the end of my ruling which will then be when one of the boys or if i ever have kids they will take over" i say standing up straight making me just taller than thorin "this is my company" he spits "aye just like the throne would be yours if father was still alive but he's not, do not make me put you on your arse in front of your company" i snap back he goes to smack me but i step back with a laugh "lads, i have a question" i say and everyone looks up with a smile "what the matter miss y/n" gandalf asks and i smile "if you had to choose out of my brother and i who would you follow" i ask and most of them say me except for balin and dwalin "wow my own husband, well i now know where your loyalties lie" i say looking at him in disbelief and well hidden happiness "i've known him longer and in my eyes under the rule of thror he's to be king" balin says and i laugh "you still have that envelope i gave you at the start of the journey correct" i ask and he nods "good sign them" i say and he goes into his bag and opens the envelope "divorce papers" he says and i nod "i know about you and your secret wife" i say and he gulps "fine" he says signing the paper before handing it to me "good now that im not stuck in that arranged bullshit my grandfather set up" i say walking over to bombur and sitting beside him "can i finally do it" he asks and i nod "of course you can darling" i say and he smiles widely before lifting me up and planting me on his knee "my queen" he says teasingly as he keeps an eye on dinner, i can't help but smile "you know that pairing makes more sense" bofur says smiling at his brother and i before bifur says something but only bofur catches it "huh" i say and bofur smiles "he asked about bomburs children" he says and i smile "who do you think had my children" bombur says revealing the hidden courting braid in his hair "can i redo yours" he asks me and i smile "after dinner" i say and he smiles "how did you have children if you were with balin" fili asks and i smile at my nephew "well balin was only home once every like ten months so in that time i had given birth and carried a child" i say making them nod "i had a lovely lady helping in the few days balin came home to look after my babies with bombur until balin left again, because i knew about his secret wife" i say making fili nod "how many cousins to we have now" kili asks and i laugh "fourteen" bombur says making everyone look shocked "that's not surprising for my sister" thorin says as he makes his way to the opposite side of the fire "im sorry for arguing with you" he says and i smile "its alright thorin, i knew this would happen and i was waiting for it so i could finally get out of my arranged marriage to be with my one and only love" i say as bombur hold the wooden spoon to me "give it a few more minutes and it will be perfect" i say making him smile "thank you love" he says before chatting with bofur and bifur, his arm wrapped carefully round me "do dis and frerin know" thorin asks and i smile "dis yes, our brother not so much he took very little involvement with me but i couldn't hide it from dis" i say and he laughs "yes i know dis can find out whatever she wants when she want" he says making me smile "yeah but i remember a certain brother being the same as a child, 'but adad please i must have the axe it would look so cool'" i tease and he goes red "but i'll admit you were an adorable kid with your little black curls" i say and he grumbles "stop it" he mutters but i snort "i think not dear brother, the first time you sat on a ram was adorable" i say and the company all listen in "you were as uncomfortable as bilbo was when he first rode myrtle" i say and he glares at me "there's the durin glare" i say and he sighs leaning on bilbo who smiles and wraps an arm round him "be nice dear" he says and i smile "i would never have guessed you two, bofur and bilbo yes but my brother" i say and bofur laughs "lass i only want one thing and that's a house" he says and i nod "your strange sometimes bofur you know that" i say and he nods "i pride maself on it" he says and i laugh "oh mahal, im stuck with you now" i say and he laughs "aye you are" he says as everyone laughs, after a while we've eaten and have all climbed into our bedrolls, i lay mine beside bombur who smiles at me "remember lay on your side" i say and he nods laying facing me, he pulls me into him "no funny business you two" bofur shouts making me roll my eyes "shove off bofur" bombur shouts back before we all go to sleep
Time skip to the battle
"I think the hell not" i mutter seeing azog holding fili, i fire an arrow hitting azog right on the vein in his neck, fili pulls it out and the white orc bleeds to death, even after which fili stabs him a few times to make sure, thorin and kili take down bolg, leaderless the orcs retreat but being dwarves, we slay as many as we can, down near the doors the ground is littered with orc, elven and human bodies, we make our way back to the doors and bombur hugs me tightly "i thought when i couldn't see you i'd never see you again love" he says and i hug him back "i made a promise that i'd never leave you, i will never break that promise" i say and he sniffles "i was so scared i'd never see you again" he says leaning his head into my neck "hun i'd never leave you, there are too many things resting on my shoulder for me to up and kick it in a battle" i say making him chuckle slightly before the two of us are knocked over by four people, bifur, bombur, fili and kili, they hug the two tightly, the younger two have tears flooding down their face as they cling to me "i thought he was gonna kill me auntie" fili cries into my shoulder "i wouldn't let that happen fi, i promised your ma that nothing bad would come of you two" i reply making the boy nod, kili on the other hand was sobbing uncontrollably babbling about being scared "aw ki its okay, auntie's gotcha, trust me i'd never let something happen to you two and neither would your uncles, yes i mean these three and thorin" i say as bombur moves bifur and bofur towards him, so i can sit up with the boys as thorin comes over, he himself looks teary as he hugs me "thorin don't you cry on me as well" i joke but his shoulders shake slightly, after a while the three of them stop crying and i stop crying, checking them over for injuries but other than scrapes, bruises and muck their not hurt badly
