24. dustin walks in on you & eddie doing self-care

OMG I LOVE THISSSSS

like eddie would definitely protest at first, i think. he would just be like "isn't that a little much?" because let's be real, his idea of skincare is just washing his face and calling it done. but when he sees you doing it to yourself, his curiosity gets the better of him and he decides to give it a shot. he falls in love with all the self-care routines, and even begs to do it with you every time he comes around. his only condition is that you tell NO ONE about it; he doesn't want to tarnish his rebellious, tough guy, bad boy image. it's funny because when you tease him about loving the routines, he just denies it. you know better, but decide not to press it.

so then one day dustin walks in on the two of you doing self-care, and eddie is mortified. here is the boy that looks up to him, and he's got a face mask on and wearing a pedicure. eddie doesn't know what to say; he just looks at dustin, ready to explain why he was doing this. but then dustin just laughs-not a cruel laugh, but more of a surprised chuckle. he then asks to join in and get a face mask of his own, and eddie is just so relieved that dustin isn't judging him. but now you have one more person that you have to prepare stuff for, and a little more work to do as a result.

you wouldn't have it any other way, though.
