Anabelle's POV
I took a break after a while. I went on my social media and saw there was a party on Friday night.

Maybe, I should go.

It is on the next block.

I could just walk there.

On Friday, I got ready and went to the party. I heard music playing and followed it. I found the house and walked inside.

Woah.

There's people everywhere.

My old friends saw me and walked up to me. One of them gave me a drink. I went to drink it but someone grabbed my wrist. I looked up and saw Holt.

"Don't drink that."

"Huh?"

"Don't you know to, not take a drink from someone you don't trust or know?"

"I-I'm not supposed to?"

"No. They could've put something in it."

He took the cup out of my hand and dumped it out on the floor.

"That's a waste of a whiskey drink!"

"So? Ana what are you even doing here?"

"I-I wanted to be different."

"This isn't a place for you."

"Oh come on Curran! If she wants to have fun, let her have fun!"

"No. She's not a partygoer."

"Oh come on! You're killing our vibe!"

"And you're pissing me off. Let's go. I'll drive you home."

"B-but...I wanna stay."

"You're not staying."

He grabbed my hand and started dragging me outside.

"Wh-what are you doing?"

"I'm serious, this isn't the place for you."

"H-how do you know that? You don't know me."

"That's not entirely true. I know enough to know that, a party isn't a place for you."

He brought me to his car and opened the door. I got in and he shut the door. He walked to the other side of the car and got in. He started driving.

"Where do you live?"

"I live a few houses away from you. Why are you doing this? Don't you like partying?"

"Not really. I just go to say "I was there.""

"I'm still not understanding."

"Paul's there. I see what he does to you."

"Really?"

"It pisses me off. He shouldn't do shit like that."

"I-I'm gonna get in trouble on Monday. He told me, he doesn't want me to talk to you."

"You're honestly more scared of him then you are me?"

"Yeah."

"How long has he been doing this?"

"Almost a year."

He clenched his jaw.

"Why do you even care?"

He didn't answer me. He brought me home.

"Does he know where you live?"

"I don't know."

He brought me home and stopped me before I got out of the car.

"Can I do something before he does it?"

"Wh-what do you think, he's gonna do?"

He started kissing me.

WHAT'S GOING ON?!

AHHHHHHH!

"What-what was for?"

"I assume, you don't want him to do that first."

"Y-you're right about that. I-I still don't understand."

"I'll come by to tomorrow so we can work on the project. Call me if you need anything."

"Ok-okay."

I got out of his car and walked up to the front door. I used my key to unlock it. The light in the living room turned on.
