                                 Holt's POV
"I had to put security cameras in certain spots of her room. The playroom has some now too."

Ariella came back with her lavender cat ear headphones on. She crawled back into my lap.

"Not too loud. You'll end up hurting your ears if it's too loud."

"Okay."

She turned her phone on then turned the volume down on her headphones. She opened up
Honkai: Star Rail and started playing.

"Anyway...what were you saying?"

"Oh! Right! So everything with Luca is okay?"

"Yeah."

We were in the middle of talking when I checked on Ariella.

She's sleeping.

Should I put her in her bed?

No...

I told her...

She could have snuggles.

Charlize left then Anabelle walked into the room. She was holding Luca.

"Is she sleeping too?"

"Yeah. I was thinking...Ariella needs a sister."

"You're right. She does."

When our second daughter was born, Ariella started to heal. She went to therapy every week. She started medication. Her depression started getting better. The happy Ariella was started to come back. Losing Alice was always be painful for her to live with. There's no way....she'll ever forget that pain. We'll be there to help her get through it all. She'll be okay.
